First Person POV - Liam
"Thank you so much for saving me." That was the first thing Clara said when we finally saw each other again after everything that had happened.
After I saved Clara, for several reasons, I ended up spending seven days unable to do anything that didn't involve sex. Because of that, naturally, I didn't meet with Clara during that time.
Helena even tried to come up with an excuse for my absence, but Clara was a journalist; her job was to uncover the truth. On top of that, she had been investigating Aeris for a long time, so she already had some suspicions about the supernatural.
In the end, Helena confessed to me that she had to tell Clara everything. That's why I was expecting her to bring up the subject when we finally met again, but that wasn't the case.
"It's fine," I replied softly. "Just… Please, don't get involved in dangerous things without telling me first." My voice carried the weight of a plea, "I don't want to see you getting hurt again."
