It made no sense.
Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack!
Like a signal, right after Kurama's howl, Kaguya launched her attack without hesitation. She gathered all her chakra, ignoring what came next, and fought with everything she had.
Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack - Barrage!
"I know this move too!" Kurama clenched his paws into fists and swung them hard. "Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack - Barrage!"
White and orange fist shadows burst out from between them. The huge force crashed together, shaking the space with its power.
Watching the two start fighting, Naruto's eyes sharpened. Nine Truth-Seeking Orbs swirled around his hands. "Six Paths Sage Art - Silver Wheel Reincarnation Explosion!"
Kaguya's face darkened. Just battling Kurama already took all her focus.
As expected, facing three Otsutsuki-level enemies at once was too much...
"Daring to get distracted?"
Sasuke's voice made Kaguya's expression change slightly. A black Truth-Seeking Orb formed in an instant.
Stacking defenses, charge!
"Six Paths Sage Art - Yatagarasu - Amaterasu Arrow!" A massive complete Susanoo stood behind Kaguya, pulling back its bow fully. Black Amaterasu flames turned into an arrow and shot out fiercely.
On the other side, Sasuke smirked. He gathered chakra in his hands. "Six Paths Sage Art - Amaterasu Kirin!"
The black flame arrow and the black lightning Kirin struck at the same time. Even the Truth-Seeking Orb barrier Kaguya created shattered under these two hits, breaking into pieces that scattered away.
A pitch-black space portal opened. Kaguya, already halfway through, looked at them with a cold face.
"Opening Yomotsu Hirasaka right away?" Sasuke was startled. "Naruto's attack is already incoming!"
The space got locked by a green storm. The huge power of the Silver Wheel Reincarnation Explosion hit Kaguya. It was an attack even Truth-Seeking Orbs couldn't block head-on, but Kaguya took it with her own body! Blood and bits of torn clothes fell. The space portal closed, and Kaguya's figure vanished from the ice and snow space.
"She took the Silver Wheel Reincarnation Explosion head-on just to escape..." Sasuke sighed. "Kaguya's tough on herself too."
The Susanoo faded. Naruto came over to Sasuke. "What surprises me is how you managed to get outside my guard and hit Kaguya while using your full Susanoo."
Sasuke gave Naruto a weird look.
"Can't you use Shadow Clone?"
Naruto froze. "Uh... yeah, that's kind of my signature move."
Sasuke rolled his eyes.
Yomotsu Hirasaka activated, and a black space portal appeared. Sasuke said grumpily, "Hurry up and track Kaguya's position. Kurama's already gone."
Huh?
Naruto turned to look and saw Kurama, with most of his body already in the space portal.
"Wait, can Kurama track Kaguya's space movements too?" Naruto scratched the back of his head, looking bitter. "With this, I'm not so special anymore."
Sasuke took a deep breath and told himself inside that this guy wasn't doing it on purpose, this guy wasn't doing it on purpose.
"Hurry!" He yelled, looking annoyed.
Naruto jumped in surprise. His face turned pitiful, like he might cry any second. "You yelled at me... wah wah wah~"
Sasuke: "..."
He clenched his fist, grinding his teeth. "Naruto, you better get it: you don't have any space-time ninjutsu right now. Don't make me leave you here alone."
"Ahem." Naruto cleared his throat and dropped the gross act. He pointed ahead casually. "I see the trail of the space movement. Over there. Kurama's heading that way too."
Sasuke glanced at him and snorted. "Idiot."
In the black space portal, Kaguya breathed heavily as she moved forward. Her goal was the ninja world. Once there, these guys wouldn't dare use big attacks, or with their four fighters' power, they might accidentally destroy the ninja world.
But...
Kaguya clutched her head in pain and stopped in place. "What... is that?"
Suddenly, her mind filled with new stuff—knowledge from ants, totally useless things. But thanks to it, she suddenly understood Kurama's weird words.
"What is that?" Kaguya lowered her hand from her head.
It didn't hurt. It was just the sudden new stuff that felt off.
Views on life and values so different from the Otsutsuki. Even stuff that shook her whole worldview.
"Hokage... ninja?" Kaguya stared blankly at the darkness around her. Her already beat-up body and confused face gave her a strange sense of weakness.
But before she could think deeper, Kurama's huge form appeared right in front of her.
He grinned, his face like a hungry wolf spotting a lamb.
With the dark surroundings and weak-looking Kaguya, it looked just like a scene from a paid show.
Paid show? What was a paid show? Kaguya didn't have time to figure out these new thoughts. She instinctively turned a Truth-Seeking Orb into a defense and blocked it in front of Kurama's massive body.
"Aha! Found you!" Kurama barked like a dog. A white Tailed Beast Bomb formed in his left paw, a black one in his right. His smile turned wild like Deidara's. "Inside a space portal, you can't redirect my attacks to outer space!"
"Take this from your grandpa—"
"Shinatobe no Kami - Prayer!"
The white and black Tailed Beast Bombs pulled toward each other like magnets, getting close but not merging. Their special pull made the two orbs start spinning. A fierce wind formed, blowing through the windless space portal, and finally turned into a black-and-white storm dragon.
The fierce dragon charged at Kaguya. The black and white orbs became its eyes, reflecting Kaguya's form.
Kaguya didn't know if this power was strong, but she knew she couldn't take this hit.
Her already messed-up, injured body would only end up unable to move if she took it, then get sealed by the arriving Naruto and Sasuke.
I don't want to be sealed!
The Truth-Seeking Orb grew big. Under the dragon's gaze, it suddenly turned white.
"Yatagarasu no Mikoto!"
The white Truth-Seeking Orb expanded fast, growing limbs like the Ten-Tails in Tailed Beast Mode, and crashed into the huge black-and-white dragon.
The space started shaking. The fight inside the portal shattered the walls around them. Through the breaking cracks, you could even see other spaces—the ice and snow one with Hashirama and Madara, and Kakashi and Sakura. They could all see it clearly.
This strike... it broke the space portal!
But it wasn't over!
The clash of the two giants didn't affect Kurama and Kaguya. After the attack launched, Kurama lunged forward, his right paw slashing through the air. "Fierce Fox Space Slash!"
Five space cracks slashed across. Kaguya's mind shook a bit.
The fierce dragon dodges buffs, how can I heal you? With dad love?
...This sentence popped into Kaguya's mind out of nowhere.
