Chapter 25 - Water Dojo (3)

A/N: Ahh I know I know it's been a long time heh, disappeared like your dad. Well I've gotten the motivation to write again. Hopefully I remember what direction I was going with this.I think the reason I quit was because I had serious burnout. Also I felt like my writing was booty suffering from confidence issues. But it's okay I feel better I felt bad looking at how many collections this had and how I just left everyone hanging. So I've decided I'll complete this story and wont abandon it.

"Hm I think that's enough for the day." Reida sounded in his ear. He barely had even heard her his mind was blank everything felt distant. I groaned I was laying on the floor he was beaten black and blue. He had more bruises on his body than he could remember ever having. "Did you not hear me get up or I'll extend our training." She said cooly walking away to go sit down.

Rudeus begrudgingly got up his everything hurt he cast a minor healing spell on himself which somewhat made him feel better. Some of his minor bruises were healed but everything else would need time to heal or just ask Sylphie. "I'll call isolte to get you whenever I want to resume our training I know where you're staying." She sipped on her tea that had already grown cold.

I wasn't even suprised anymore it seemed like everything about me was laid bare in front of her. I didn't respond I just left and went to go check up on Sylphie and Eris. When I made it out there I saw eris battling it out with Isolte she was still losing. You really can't expect someone's personality and fighting style to change in a single day. I take a glance around the dojo to find where Sylphie was, at the moment she was locked in a battle with another beginner ranked swordsman. It didn't look intense at all It seems like both of them were taking it lightly. Sylphie spotted me and stopped her sword duel "Rudeus!" She ran over to me and was going to hug me but I stopped her in her tracks.

"Dont hug me right now im in pain." I muttered weakly even though my pain had lessened it wasnt just physical pain it was also mental. What she had put me through cant be called training it was closer to torture. My brain trembled remembering what had happened to me. This just made me even more resolute to kill darius if I can hurt her in any way possible I'd do it.

"Rudeus what happened you look like you got mawled by a pack of assault dogs." She looked at me from head to toe and her expression only got more worried. She put her hand on my chest and closed her eyes. A sudden green light envolped her hand and a warm breeze coursed throughout my body. I felt my body start to feel lighter and ligher and my breathing became less erratic. After a quick second it stopped and she took a step back.

"You should feel better now I casted intermediate healing on you." She let a warm smile spread across her face and I couldn't help but sigh. 'Where would I be without Sylphie.' "I think we should get going we've been here long enough it might get dark soon and if we dont return then Ghislaine might start cutting people down to find us." Sylphie let out a soft giggle at my joke. This sound put my mind at ease and lifted the mental strain I was carrying.

We both made our way to where Eris was sparring the place wasn't that big so we had a clear view of her. Currently it was just Isolite blocking every strike that came her way while Eris mashed her sword against Isolite sword. She let out quick and vicious slashes trying her hardest to break past the defense of the water god style. Isolite just sighed and countered Eris easily breaking the sword from Eris hand and placed her practice sword on her shoulder.

Eris growled in anger "Lets go again!" She shouted picking up her practice sword and getting back into her stance. "This makes what I cant even count how many times you've lost. Your strategy hasn't changed you've only tried harder and harder to overpower me, which hasn't worked once. You wont be able to defeat me if you don't rein in all that blood lust and anger you harbor. To think someone of my age could even harbor so much hate is baffling." Isolite was tired she and Eris had dueled over and over but Eris hasn't learned a thing even worse she only got angrier as she explained it to her. She didn't want to keep up such pointless battles that only wasted her time because some girl was too stubborn to accept defeat.

Eris growled she doesn't want to take no for an answer she needed to prove herself and beat this girl. This was the first step to surpassing Rudeus. He said that she had more potential than him in swordsman ship so she would capitalize on that and become stronger than him. "Eris we have to go." A voice sounded behind her instinctually she turned around and she was Rudeus and Sylphie standing there waiting for her.

She was about to protest till she felt a mountain of fatigue hit her and she suddenly felt sleepy. She looked at Isolite she had marked her as a rival for now she would come back and defeat her no matter how many tries it took. "Okay let's go." She dropped the practice sword and followed Rudeus out of the dojo.

Everyone in the dojo let out a collective sigh of relief the amount of blood lust Eris had been letting out had scared them all. Since all of them were inexperienced on the battlefield that the amount of bloodlust made them shiver, they hadn't been able to train to their fullest ability.

Later after everyone in the dojo left Isolite stayed behind and went to check on what her grandmother had been up to. "Grandma?" She saw her grandmother sitting there drinking tea her expression was thoughtful. She clearly had been in deep contemplation about some things and Isolite was a little worried. Even though her Grandmother was getting old she never overthought things.

She was always very resolute with even really serious things so seeing her grandmother like this made her worry a little. "Don't worry about me Isolite even someone like me needs time to think, come over and sit down next to me." She motioned Isolite to the open seat next to her. Isolite walked over and sat down next to her grandma.

"Isolite whats your opinions on the boy?" She continued to sip on her tea. Isolite didn't really have any strong opinions on the boy as she hadn't really interacted with him much. Though she had been thinking about their fight ever since it happened. What she wanted to know is how was someone with so much talent for the sword unknown. She hadn't known where he came from.

But her grandma usually told her about all the upcoming swordsmen she should be worried about. Isolite had thought she was the strongest upcoming Water God practitioner. But clearly not. Who was his teacher how did he get so Strong if he hadn't had a formal teacher. Looking at it now maybe she did have a strong impression.

"You haven't said anything but your expression says a million words, It seems you also have a lot to ponder about him. He is very interesting and has a lot of potential to become the next Water God." Reid's comment made Isolite perk up

Was her grandma really considering him to be the next Water God. But why yes his Water God technique is good and all but he also used Sword god in the fight with her. She couldn't really get a good grasp on his Water God skills but there's no way it could be better than hers.

She had trained under her grandmother since she was little. His companion only knew the sword god style and not saying she was weak but she could definitely improve compared to him.

He even preformed the long sword of silence meaning at the bare minimum he was Advanced at least his long sword of silence was clunky though.

She had seen the long sword of silence many times from sword god swordsmen who challenged her dojo. They were significantly faster that's how she blocked his. Also the way his flower out felt more forced if anything and it locked the brute force and malice they usually had.

That's why she knew he wasn't trying to kill her. He probably would've just knocked her sword from her hand. Isolite was a kind girl and she appreciated kind people.

So now thinking about it if he did become to water god. She actually wouldn't be too opposed to it, though that's not going stop her from trying to surpass him.

A/N: I just wanna know who else should be added to the harem. My friends said Aisha but idk would that be crazy I mean the mc right now really has no connection to his sisters
