Chapter 877 - Ch.877 Kill, Kill, Kill

Tsunade arrived with a large group of shinobi, and Shinji naturally noticed, but he paid it no mind, continuing his assault on Danzo!

Without Shinji's command, his squad remained steadfast in following his orders, guarding the battlefield's perimeter.

Let alone ordinary people, even Tsunade, the Fifth Hokage, received no acknowledgment from his squad members, who instead displayed clear vigilance!

Mumei needed no mention.

She felt no attachment to Hidden Leaf Village, and the enemy was Danzo, who had transplanted an arm full of Sharingan, practically mocking the Uchiha clan in their faces, so she was the most resolute!

Haku and Karin, in truth, didn't want things to escalate this far.

But they also knew that the moment they became members of Shinji's squad, they were tied to him.

Given the complex situation, rather than cowering and surrendering now, it was better to trust Shinji and charge forward!

At worst, they'd just defect!

For those who had secretly joined the Akatsuki organization, defection wasn't some taboo topic!

At that moment, an Anbu asked Tsunade, "Hokage-sama, should we act now?"

Tsunade frowned, "Wait for now!"

It was precisely because of the astonishing performance and resolute attitude of Mumei, Haku, and Karin that Tsunade hesitated.

She, who should have intervened immediately, suddenly wavered, realizing the situation was far more complicated than she had initially estimated.

A single misstep could even spark large-scale unrest in the village.

On the battlefield.

Shinji ignored Tsunade, while Danzo had no energy to spare for her, as his situation was extremely dire.

Biting his finger, Danzo quickly formed seals: "Summoning Jutsu!"

Poof.

In a burst of white smoke, the massive Nightmare Tapir appeared on the battlefield.

If not for dire necessity, Danzo wouldn't have summoned a large summoning beast in the village, as a single mistake could affect the village.

But at this point, he could no longer afford to care!

Soon, the Nightmare Tapir anchored itself with its giant claws, then unleashed a vortex-like suction of Wind Release toward Shinji.

By normal logic, with Shinji's human size, it would take only a second or two for him to be sucked into the Tapir's belly and devoured.

Yet, despite the Tapir's gaping mouth and immense suction, Shinji wasn't budged in the slightest. Danzo's gaze sharpened, only then noticing that the moment he summoned the Tapir, Shinji had shot kunai wrapped with steel wire into the surroundings, anchoring himself firmly in place with the wires.

Then, Shinji began forming seals, facing the Tapir and shouting, "Fire Release: Great Fireball Jutsu!"

Boom.

Under the Tapir's suction, Shinji's 'Great Fireball Jutsu' surged into its mouth, unleashing a resounding explosion!

Wooo.

The Tapir, having taken a direct hit from Shinji's Fire Release, wailed and dispelled its summoning, vanishing in a puff of white smoke.

Danzo paid no heed to his summoning beast. Seizing the moment when Shinji's body was anchored by the wires and unable to move, he quickly formed seals: "Wind Release: Vacuum Great Sphere!"

Danzo's mastery of Wind Release ninjutsu was unquestionable, so when the crowd saw him exploit Shinji's vulnerability and unleash the 'Vacuum Great Sphere,' many held their breath for Shinji, including Mumei, Karin, and Haku.

Yet, beneath his mask, Shinji's face showed only disdain.

As the 'Vacuum Great Sphere' came whistling toward him, he didn't dodge or evade, instead meeting it with a 'Rasengan' from his right hand.

Boom!

The 'Rasengan' collided with the 'Vacuum Great Sphere,' erupting in a deafening roar that pained the ears!

In the fleeting moment when the shockwave spread, blinding everyone, Shinji flickered forward, closing in on Danzo again and throwing a punch!

Thud.

Without any surprise, Danzo was once again sent flying by Shinji's punch, his chest caving in as he hit the ground, lifeless.

In the blink of an eye, Danzo's body vanished as before, and Danzo himself reappeared elsewhere on the battlefield.

Tsunade's expression shifted: "This is?!"

A voice suddenly sounded beside her: "This is the Uchiha clan's forbidden technique, 'Izanami no Mikoto'!"

Tsunade turned to see that, unbeknownst to her, the Third Hokage had arrived at the scene, and she asked, "The forbidden technique that can alter fate and distort reality?"

The Third nodded lightly, "Yes!"

"But the cost of that technique—"

Mid-sentence, Tsunade realized, her gaze shifting to Danzo's arm full of Sharingan.

The Third said, "Looks like Danzo's in big trouble!"

Indeed, just then, Shinji had smashed Danzo with another punch!

After reviving once more through 'Izanami no Mikoto,' Danzo finally began to panic.

So far, he had been killed by Shinji four times, completely beyond his expectations. Even more terrifying was that Shinji showed little emotional fluctuation, as if killing him four times was a trivial matter.

Now, he realized he was in serious trouble. If he couldn't turn the tide, the consequences would be unthinkable.

"Could I have to use that…?"

Danzo considered the option.

Thud.

Before Danzo could weigh the pros and cons, Shinji broke through his defenses with incredible speed, landing a clean punch that shattered his heart!

As the fifth Sharingan on his right arm closed, Danzo revived again!

"Damn it!"

Danzo gritted his teeth, never imagining he'd be pushed to this point by a kid.

Shinji's gaze shifted, coldly locking onto Danzo, who had revived elsewhere on the battlefield through 'Izanami no Mikoto,' and he began walking toward him.

Shinji was well aware of Danzo's trump card—the Mangekyo Sharingan in his right eye socket, transplanted from Shisui, containing 'Kotoamatsukami.'

Uncertain if he could withstand 'Kotoamatsukami,' Shinji kept 'Jikibi' and 'Wazunagi' active, maintaining a chakra connection with Mumei.

If he fell victim, Mumei could disrupt his chakra to snap him out of the genjutsu.

This method was somewhat like the perfect Jinchuriki's immunity to genjutsu, except that instead of a tailed beast waking the Jinchuriki, it was Mumei, linked to him through 'Jikibi' and 'Wazunagi,' who would wake Shinji.

While closing in on Danzo, Shinji glanced around.

As the situation continued to escalate, not only had Tsunade, the Hokage, arrived, but the Third, Koharu Utatane, and Homura Mitokado, the other advisor elders, had also shown up one after another.

However, they didn't intervene immediately upon arriving!

As for why, Shinji had a faint guess—likely because of the overwhelming strength he was displaying!

Danzo's own power, combined with the revival ability of 'Izanami no Mikoto,' made him a proper Kage-level shinobi. Yet even such a powerhouse was being pushed to the brink by Shinji, teetering on the edge. In this situation, anyone would think twice before jumping in!

After all, so-called rules and regulations weren't meant to bind the strong. As long as one was strong enough, the same act of insubordination could yield vastly different outcomes.
