Life Grid!
After stepping onto the path of cultivation, all martial artists will encounter something called a "Life Grid." Although it's an abstract term, it's something that all martial artists can sense, as it's connected to their divine spirit. If their divine thought is extinguished, they are utterly destroyed; if the life grid is severed, their life ends, and they can no longer survive. This is something everyone understands. However, the "Life Grid" is something very few people can thoroughly study, as it is fundamentally elusive.
Yet, such an elusive thing is still connected to the martial artist's spirit. Once the life grid is severed, the martial artist's lifespan is considered to have reached its end. This is something many martial arts experts can sense when they are about to pass away; the severing of the life grid marks the absolute end of one's life!
