There was an assistant in a black professional skirt suit following behind her, both walking confidently and looking quite pleased with themselves.
Mu Anran merely gave Mu Xue a subtle glance and then looked away, not intending to engage with her at all.
"Mu Anran, if I'm not mistaken, you're planning to meet Mr. Alexander, right?"
Mu Xue couldn't say anything other than provocations when meeting her.
Mu Anran just felt that bickering with her here would seem a bit beneath her.
So she said nothing, placed some money under the coffee cup, and turned to leave.
Seeing Mu Anran completely ignore her, Mu Xue was utterly furious.
When they brushed past each other, Mu Xue grabbed Mu Anran's arm and sarcastically sneered, "Mu Anran, why are you acting so high and mighty? Didn't you hear me talking to you?"
Mu Anran turned back coldly, glared at Mu Xue's hand, and finally spoke, "I didn't hear anyone talking to me, just a dog barking."
