An old monk and a young monk walked to the foot of the spiritual mountain. The old monk fell to the ground, trembling with extreme excitement.
A statue of an arhat near the foot of the mountain suddenly opened its eyes, slowly turned around, looked down at the old monk, and said softly: "Wei Shan, you have returned."
The old monk stayed prostrate, saying: "Disciple has wandered for seven hundred years, gained some insight, and now I have returned."
The arhat gently moved its body, as if looking at the old monk, but there was a lack of divine light in its eyes, somewhat hollow. Its head seemed to just turn towards the source of the sound, without seeing the old monk.
The arhat asked: "Have you found the answer?"
