Thus, Reiger did not kill Claude, nor did he choose to use the risky [Memory Manipulation] magic to extract information from him, but rather planned to use spirit-type magic to make him talk.
However, this attempt did not go smoothly.
Unlike those earlier minions, Claude, as a nation's pinnacle of strength, was naturally wary of various anomalous magic and prepared certain methodologies to counteract such effects.
