Conie look in her eyes locked. "Yes, I'm a nemesis. But don't worry, we are not your enemy. What is your name?"
Aftor look with a slight hesitation, "My name is Aftor. But.. Just how are you and what's your purpose?! Are you a freaking ai or something?"
Conie look with a sad face "Omg you're rude for no reason, I'm a nemesis, I just obey my lord"
Aftor narrowed his eyes and looked at him, "Who's your lord? You can't get anything hide"
Macker was speechless at what he saw, deeply disturbed by the uncanny valley effect
Conie stares blankly, "I can't say that, my lord told me not to reveal his identity."
Conie then tries to leave, and Aftor, extremely annoyed by this, tries to catch her, but Macker grabs his arm.
Aftor angrily asked, "What are you trying to do, Macker?"
Macker looked him in the eyes and said, "Let's go, it's not worth it, she'll just show herself again."
Aftor rolled his eyes again and said, "Okay okay, you weirdo.."
After exiting, Conie takes flight and enters the building where her fellow nemesises, Stelan, Tronite, and Ponk just chilling
Conie looked at her friends and said, "I met two people at the mall today, and my curse energy radar went through the roof."
Tronite stared straight at her in a robotic manner and said, "What were their names?"
Conie looked and said "One of them is named Aftor, but I don't know the other"
Tronite stares straight again. "Nice.."
Aftor and Macker arrive at the Sky Boys building and talk about the woman they saw there.
Orced stares seriously, "Are you serious? A flesh-and-blood being that talks like AI, and calls herself a nemesis?"
Aftor gives a confirming look. "Yes, that's exactly the kind of thing she was. She was very creepy, and strangely nobody else even noticed."
Macker looks at him and smiles, "What if it's not that serious?"
Aftor rolled his eyes and said, "What if it's that serious, einstein? Don't start with your whataboutism."
Ema looks at Aftor and says, "Get into my new machine! We can monitor your memories and cursed energy indicators."
Macker looks surprised, "Have you already built that machine?"
Orced looks at him and says, "Yes, we've tried it many times and it didn't work, but now it does. Ema is a real engineer."
Macker looks on curiously and laughs, "Where is Kruna by the way? Let's check his embarassing memories"
Kruna hears him in the shower, naked with a slightly muscular lean body, and says, "Gosh.."
Orced looks at Macker and says, "Don't worry, it doesn't work that way."
Ema puts Aftor through the memory scan machine, and on the screen the high school times at 2022, with Kruna and Macker
Macker looks with a grin "Hehehe-"
Aftor shouts "Damn it, fast forward!!"
Ema acts fast and fast forward the memory scanner with trying to enter the right unix timestamp "Now this is 2033 right? Okay alright so… this is today, 1 hours ago"
A picture of Conie, whom they met an hour ago, appears on the screen
Ema looks at him seriously. "Let's measure the cursed energy in her.. God, it's very high, but also that's like.. phantom energy so it can pass the radars"
Orced calculates... "He doesn't fit into the curse class we know; we are S-class, meaning intelligent human curses, while she is a nemesis, a N-class, and pretty sure is not alone."
Kruna comes in after showering and getting dressed and says, "Yesterday I've hunted down a B-class curse alone, that seemed very chill but people very afraid of it like the other curses, well because they look uncanny"
Ema looks seriously, "I'd like to remind you that we got this classification system from Hedonas."
Kruna points out a new issue: "Have you heard of evidence suggesting the existence of many other supernatural beings? Angels, fairies, and genies. But in this region, curses are the most common."
Orced looked at Kruna and said, "I know, but I don't think they pose a threat."
Aftor shouts angrily, "Get this damn scanner out of my eyes!"
Ema removes the scanner from Aftor's eyes
Aftor with a relieved expression, "Thank god."
Macker looked at Kruna with a grin and said, "Can we scan your memories too?"
Kruna grinned and said, "Would you okay to scan, would you like that?"
Ema looks at the two of them and says, "This machine can only do a maximum of 3 scans a day and consumes a lot of energy. Therefore, it must be used carefully."
Kruna looked again and said, "That wouldn't be a problem for me anyway."
Eriky arrives with the new food he bought and says, "Hello guys"
Orced looks at him and says, "Finally, now make me some tea. Anyone wants?"
Aftor, Ema, and Macker look on involuntarily. But Kruna says, "I want one too, medium and with cloves, be careful!"
Macker looked at him and said, "Has he just started bullying again out of boredom?"
Eriky looks at him and says, "Damn you keep bullying me because I'm doing everything you want, but fine, I'll do it."
Kruna grins. "Go ahead, do it, don't make me say it twice!"
Nix wakes up and wonders what happened. "Guys, did I miss something? It seems so"
Aftor looks at Nix and says, "Yes, my guy, there are new threats coming, so come and let me tell."
Meanwhile, Kenji's observation information from Florka's base, the Karkas cult building, shook things up.
Kenji, in shock, shows the camera footage and says, "Sir, these look like members of the Sky Boys, don't they?"
Florka looks at the records and his eyes widen. "Yeah these guys are definitely them, but who is that woman?"
Ponk, one of the Nemesises, senses a great curse energy emanating from within the Karkas cult building as she passes by.
"There's another curse here.."
Ponk, comes to the security guards and say "Hello, I'm Ponk, I'm a Nemesis. Can you let me in?"
The security guards shrug their shoulders and one of them say, "What is she talking about?", then the other say "I don't know but doesn't seem right"
Together they draw their spears and say, "No, you cannot pass."
Ponk stares intently, says "Oh really?", then knocks them unconscious with a needle and walks inside.
