A scream could be heard as Two anthropomorphic animals could be seen. One a blue hedgehog with green eyes white gloves, with red and white shoes. Next to him was supposed to be someone insignificant but isntead they turned out to be one of the most important people to ever come out of this world. However the being on the ground was supposed to be the strongest. He was infinite and he was just defeated by Sonic and his friend.
Infinite:Impossible. I cannot be defeated.
Sonic:Wrong loser. The things that can't be defeated are heart, soul, and the bonds of friendship. Three things that you and your counterfeit clones lack.
Infinite suddenly started to glitch out and gloat in the air.
Infinite:No! Wait! I can still fight!
He couldn't say any more as he was dissolved and sent toward the tower behind the two. But it only looked like he was going there. In reality he was going to the true Phantom Ruby and when he did the Phantom Ruby reacted to his will, his strength, and he fear. And all that added up to what he wanted the most.
Infinite: I WANT TO LIVE!
He shouted as the Phantom Ruby acknowledged his wish and opened a portal underneath it and started taking him inside and appeared over a large island surrounded. The Phantom Ruby was hovering over a giant green emerald and surrounding it were seven emeralds of different colors. Infinite's body fell from the Phantom Ruby and landed on the ground with a hard thud. He groaned from the impact and looked up seeing the emeralds infront of him. Holding his head up he looked at the shining gems and his eyes widened.
Infinite:These are...t-the Chaos Emeralds.
The Phantom Ruby glowed and sent eight beams of light at the emeralds and began glowing itself. The chaos energy exploded in power making Infinite close his eyes and felt himself engulfed by the chaos energy. He felt his body change and felt himself become formless and sluggish. Finally he fell asleep not planning on waking up for a long time.
he Hidden Leaf Village was home to some of the strongest shinobi in the world. However since the recent attack of the Nine Tailed Fox they have started to slowly recover from the attack. However that was six years ago and things have become more peaceful as of late. Except for one person in the village and that person had just fallen on the ground. The one who had just fallen had blonde spiky hair and blue eyes. On his cheeks rested three marks on each side of his face in the shape of whiskers. This was Naruto Uzumaki the and the one standing over him glaring was a girl with red hair and blue eyes.
Naruto:Ow.
He winced and held his side and the girl walked up and scoffed.
???:It's hard to believe that we're actually related when you're this weak.
Naruto:It's not my fault that Mom and Dad don't train me.
He muttered under his breath and looked away bitterly.
???:What was that?
She asked harshly getting angry at the boy on the ground.
Then another girl came up this time she had blonde hair and purple eyes.
???:Just leave him alone Hitomi. He's just making excuses for being weak.
Naruto scoffed and stood up and limped away holding his side.
Hitomi:Yeah you're right. Trash like him doesn't even deserve to share our family name.
She said as they began laughing at the left the training grounds. Naruto continued to walk throughout the streets of the village looking down. An angry expression on his face as he walked away ignoring the looks the villagers gave him. Disappointment, pity, and annoyance.
Naruto:It's like this everyday. I try and fight back but they're stronger than me. Mom and Dad won't even train me like them. They keep telling me to wait until the academy. Well whatever I'll just go to my secret hide out.
He said and made his way slowly through the streets of the village. Finally after an hour of walking or rather limping he arrived at the Hokage monument and sat down on the ground and looked out over the village. He discovered this place when he wandered off on his own and went to a higher place to try and find his home. But once he got there he was awed at the sight of the height he was at. It was there he decided to go there whenever he wanted to escape his life and just be alone.
Once there he kept staring out at the village until he began to grow more and more tired from over exerting himself. With that he layed downnon the ground and passed out. Hours passed and soon night fell on the village and in the dark cloudy sky a hole opened up revealing the large full moon. The moon started to pulse and slowly turn red and a light was shit out if the center of it. The light fell on the Hokage monument and enveloped a sleeping Naruto in it's bright light.
The boy began to float up into the air and in a red flash was taken away from his resting spot and the light vanished as well. Not even five minutes later a shinobi wearing a mask appeared along with others. Finally the Hokahe appeared looking over the area.
Bird mask:Lord Hokage there was something here when that flash of light hit.
Minato:Can you find out what it was?
Bird Mask:Most likely not. But in any case we can get a hyuga or an Uchiha here to scan the area for traces of chakra. If we can find out where it came from we can find out who did this.
Minato:Alright make sure to stay vigilant in case something like this happens again.
Meanwhile in a different land Naruro woke up to the sight of the full moon over head.
Naruto:Ugh. What time is it?
He asked and at up rubbing his eyes. Blinking he looked out and didn't see Konoha but instesd saw something else. He saw vast amounts of water infront of him making him look at the crashing waves before realizing where he was and backed up to be more on land.
Naruto:Agh! What the heck?! Where am I?!
He shouted and looked around as he didn't see the rocky area of the Hokage monument. Instead he saw grass, trees, and dirt surround him. Naruto immediately stood up and ran away from the edge until was further away from it.
Naruto:Where am I? What happened to me?
He started to walk while looking around the new area. He had to stop when he saw that there was a cliff there as well.
Naruto:A ledge?
He looked over and looked left and right seeing nothing else but water and the ledge. He decided to walk around it to find where it leads to. After completing a circle a few times Naruto stopped walking and sat on the edge and looked over at the water.
Naruto:This isn't so bad. Atleast I don't have to deal with the village anymore.
He sighed and looked back at the forest.
Naruto:Should I explore inside the forest? I don't hear any other animals here.
He walked over and into the forest taking in everything. Then a bright green glow caught his attention making him walk toward the light and turned to the source to see eight gems. Green, Blue, Red, Violet, Light Blue, White, Yellow, and a giant Emerald in the middle of all of them. Naruto's eyes reflected the lights of the emeralds and he began walking toward it.
Naruto:Wow....
He kept closing the distance between him and the emeralds. But before he could take another step he tripped and fell just before the stairs leading up to the emeralds.
Naruto:Ow.
After recovering from his fall he looked back at what he tripped over and saw something at his feet. He couldn't really see it in the darkness so he grabbed at it. Though he found it hard to do seeing that it was planted into the ground.
Naruto:Come on and get out!
He shouted yanking the object from the ground. Once it was free he looked it over and saw it was covered in dirt. He dusted the object off and revealed it's black and red pattern along with its jagged edges. Naruto looked at the emeralds and at the gem in his hands.
Naruto:Is this thing one of those up there? It's not as shiny as them and it looks different.....Just like me!
He shouted in happiness seeing something a lot like himself. He compared himself to the gem in his hands.
Naruto:It's just like me. Dull, weird, and covered in dirt. While those gems up there are well cut, shiny, and pretty. You were probably put in the ground because you were looked over right? Don't worry I choose you first!
He said holding the gem tightly in his hands. When he did that the gem started to glow brightly and enveloped the boy in its bright red light.
Naruto:Ah! What's going on?!
He screamed out in shock at the bright light. Thenliggt faded from sight soon and when it did Naruto opened his eyes and saw a pair of legs standing infront of him. He slowly looked up seeing a tail and white hair showing that it was Infinite. The Jackal looked around examining the new area just like how Naruto did. Suddenly the creature looked back showing his red eye to the boy shocking him.
Naruto:U-Um....Hello.
He said shaking slightly at the intimidating creature. Infinite looked at the Phantom Ruby in Naruto's hands and back up at the boy.
Infinite:So you're the one who awakened it?
Naruto:A-Awakened?
Infinite:Tell me your name boy.
Naruto:N-Naruto...U-Uzumaki-Namikaze.
He stammered out without thinking and the Jackal took the name in.
Infinite:Hmm. That's a strange name. What is this world called that we're in.
Naruto:World?
Infinite:What is the name of this place?
Naruto:I-I don't know.
He said looking down while checking the Phantom Ruby.
Infinite:I scare you don't I? Sorry about that, child.
Naruto:I-It's alright.
Infinite:Here. Maybe if I do this it will make things easier.
He raised his hand to Naruto's head and used the power of the Phantom Ruby to cast a projection of his memories and sent it into his own mind. What he saw made Infinite enraged at how this boy was treated. He was treated like trash by his family, scum by his village, and weak by everyone around him. And this made Infinite think about the days before he became who he was and turned into the powerhouse he is now. He suppressed his rage and looked at the the boy this time kneeling on the ground.
Infinite:I think I understand this place a little more now. Thank you, Naruto. I now know the hardships that people so young go through.
Naruto:Huh?! H-How do you know that?
He said stepping back fearfully of the creature infront of him.
Infinite:I just read your memories.
Naruto:Wow you did?! Wait...then you saw it?
Infinite:Yes. I'm sorry that you're treated the way that you are.
Naruto:I-It's not so bad.
Infinite:It is!
Naruto flinched at this and grew scared again.
Infinite:Parents are supposed to love you, care for you...they overlook you for those two brats. It isn't right.
Naruto:There isn't anything I can do about it though.
He spoke meekly looking down. Infinite looked at him and crossed his arms seeing himself in the boy.
Infinite:What if I told you that you can?
Naruto:How?
Infinite:That's easy. I can train you.
At this, Naruto looked up a bit shocked. He was excited by the mention of training but tried not to show his growing hope.
Naruto:Train me? But why would you do that?
Infinite:Because of two things. You are just like me in terms of strength. And you can activate the Phantom Ruby by sheer will alone.
Naruto:Phantom Ruby?
Infinite:The gem in your hands. That is its name.
Naruto:Oh. It's pretty.
Looking down, Naruto smiled at the now shining ruby.
Infinite:Not only does it look beautiful it is also powerful. More powerful than these other gems.
Naruto:It is? How?
Infinite:Let me show you.
