A flurry of thoughts raced through Seimei's mind, but he quickly pushed them aside, no longer focusing on the now-mastered Natural Energy Perception and Natural Energy Control.
His gaze shifted upward to the bloodline section of his panel.
Just like his last physical transformation, this one had granted extra evolution points to several of his kekkei genkai.
The Sharingan and Byakugan? No need to dwell on those.
Thanks to Mirror Heart Technique for the Sharingan and Body of the Extreme for the Byakugan, they were already gaining over a hundred evolution points daily. The extra points from this transformation were barely worth mentioning.
But for Wood Release, Lava Release, Ice Release, Storm Release, and Dust Release, the additional two to three hundred evolution points were nothing to scoff at.
Unfortunately, he hadn't been actively working on improving these bloodlines, so they were still far from their next rank-up.
Even with Dust Release: Detachment of the Primitive World Technique and Dust Release: Boundary Detachment Technique boosting his Dust Release, reaching the 5,000 evolution points needed for the next level was no small feat.
Shaking his head slightly, Seimei let it go.
His eyes moved up again, landing on the Chakra section.
Over the past three months, his chakra ceiling had climbed by over 600,000 points, now sitting at nearly 3.5 million.
This massive chakra pool gave him unparalleled explosive power.
He hadn't tested it at full throttle yet, but he figured it wouldn't disappoint.
After all, the S-rank ninjutsu he'd mastered tended to grow exponentially stronger the more chakra he poured into them.
This, in turn, had quietly boosted his combat strength by a significant margin.
Now, Seimei was just waiting for the right moment—a qualitative leap that would propel his strength firmly into the super-kage tier, making him unmatched among humans.
Slurp.
Wiping the corner of his mouth, Seimei pulled himself together.
He took one last look at the panel before closing it.
It was getting late.
Instead of continuing his training, he decided to return to Moon Island and rest.
Tomorrow, he'd test his body's new limits and plan out the next phase of his training. For that, he needed to be in top shape.
---
The next day.
Seimei woke up early, as usual.
He went through his morning routine—washing up and downing a few enhanced soldier pills to fill his stomach.
Then, he cast Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu.
Poof! Poof! Poof!
Clouds of chakra smoke cleared, revealing three hundred shadow clones in the clearing.
In the morning, Moon Island and its surrounding area still had a decent amount of natural energy.
So, instead of sending some clones off with a wood clone, he kept them all here to absorb it.
Why bother with so many shadow clones when his Natural Energy Perception and Natural Energy Control were already maxed out?
Simple.
First, shadow clones couldn't fully inherit his abilities, so they weren't capable of absorbing natural energy over a wide range. Quantity was their strength.
Second, the environment was a limiting factor.
As he'd noted before, even he himself needed an abundance of natural energy to absorb it near-limitlessly.
Otherwise, it was a slow, methodical process.
And clearly, Moon Island and its surroundings didn't meet that requirement.
In fact, across the entire ninja world, only the three holy grounds could satisfy his needs.
So, in the end, creating a ton of shadow clones was still the best way to gather natural energy.
Once the three hundred clones had spread out, Seimei turned his attention inward. He drew chakra from the interdimensional space at his forehead, topping off his reserves.
Soon, his chakra was fully restored.
Raising his hands, he formed the Ram seal and cast Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu again.
Poof! Poof! Poof!
Five more shadow clones appeared.
Without needing any orders, the five clones knew their task. They nodded at Seimei and dashed off toward the distant sea.
Watching their figures fade, Seimei shifted his focus. With a thought, he used Flying Thunder God Technique to teleport to the volcano beneath Moon Island.
"Time to test my body's new limits after this transformation," he murmured.
Ignoring the scorching heat and the toxic gases in the air, Seimei focused his mind inward.
He mobilized 500,000 points of chakra, channeling them into the space in his abdomen created by the Three Elements Sealing Technique. An equal amount of natural energy fused with it, producing 500,000 points of sage chakra.
Then, he directed this sage chakra into training Body of the Extreme.
---
Hours passed in a flash.
By late afternoon, Seimei had finished another round of Body of the Extreme training, hitting his planned quota for the day.
Back on Moon Island, he calculated the chakra he'd spent on Body of the Extreme today.
Thanks to the panel's precise display, it didn't take long to get an answer.
Over the course of the day, he'd burned through 18 million points of chakra—5 million more than the 13 million he used to spend.
Hiss.
The result made Seimei suck in a sharp breath.
He'd had a hunch that the 2.2 million extra chakra points from this transformation wouldn't be enough to cover the increased demand.
But he hadn't expected the jump to be this big.
It was both shocking and exciting.
Shocking because the gap was massive.
Exciting because the more chakra it demanded, the more effective it would be at strengthening his body.
Preliminary tests showed his body's reinforcement efficiency was now 1.3 to 1.5 times higher than before—a 30 to 50 percent boost.
But to pin down the exact number, he'd need a few more days of testing to get an average.
From there, he could estimate when his next transformation might happen.
That, however, was for later.
Right now, Seimei's focus was on how to cover the shortfall.
Five million minus 2.2 million left a gap of 2.8 million chakra points.
He'd initially planned to pull this from his accumulated reserves.
But his backup chakra was running low. Draining it now would leave him without a safety net for emergencies, and he wasn't ready to burn through it just yet.
After some thought, he decided to cut back on the chakra allocated to Dust Release: Detachment of the Primitive World Technique and Dust Release: Boundary Detachment Technique, redirecting 3 million points to Body of the Extreme.
This might delay the leveling of those two Dust Release techniques.
But no big deal.
They were still a ways off from maxing out anyway. A little extra time wouldn't hurt.
