Elora averted her gaze and sneered. Her face went expressionless as Nalia announced her presence and opened the double doors.
Sonia placed her cup down, her gaze briefly flickering over Elora's crown before a warm smile spread across her face as she stood and bowed slightly in greeting. "Your Majesty, may the Lord of Light grant you good health. Royal Aunt has been ill for a while and couldn't attend your wedding… cough… I've gotten a bit better and decided to visit you." Sonia coughed into her handkerchief, her face somewhat pale, which made the words leaving her lips seem more credible.
