The people who had visited the church began to leave in twos and threes, but there was still no sign of Elora.
Time passed slowly, yet there was still no sign of her, causing Thorn to get down from the carriage.
He began pacing around the carriage in the secluded spot where they had parked. He was worried and tempted to go inside and find Elora. It had already been an hour since she entered the church, but there was still no sign of her.
'If I wait here another thirty minutes and she doesn't show up, I'm going in there to find her.'
Thorn timed himself before leaning against the carriage to wait.
Nalia kept looking toward the church building with a worried frown. Though she knew Her Majesty could defeat ten of her without breaking a sweat, she couldn't help but worry when she couldn't be beside Elora and act as her guard.
Thirty minutes passed, and there was still no sign of her.
Thorn could no longer wait.
He strode toward the church.
