Chapter 451 - 451: A Vision of the Future

Jason wasn't angry at Arya's accusation. He knew deep down that he had possessed the knowledge to change everyone's fate, yet he hadn't acted in time. It was a burden he carried privately, one he would never fully confess to anyone else.

Hearing the promise of justice for the Starks, Jon Snow could no longer contain his fervor. "My lord, when do we march south to take King's Landing?" he asked, his eyes bright. "With the 'bombs' you brought from the modern world, the city walls are useless. We could take the Iron Throne in a day!"

Jason smiled and gave a firm nod. "Tomorrow, I will bring a delegation from the modern world to Westeros. In front of the lords of the North and the Riverlands, we will begin negotiations for the future of this world. Trust me, Jon, this is the beginning of something great."

He looked around the room at his family and advisors. "Westeros—and this entire world—has been trapped in a cycle of poverty and war for ten thousand years. With the help of the modern world, we can end that. No one will have to freeze to death in a long winter again. We will build a world where parents don't lose sons to pointless wars, and where any man who works hard can provide a stable, prosperous life for his family."

To bridge the gap between his words and their medieval reality, Jason began to describe the wonders of modern society. He spoke of high-tech machinery, an endless food supply, and cities of steel and glass that were clean and safe.

Seeing their lingering confusion, Jason decided to show them. He briefly traveled back to the modern side and returned with projection equipment. He set up a screen and began playing video materials that had been translated into the local tongue so they could understand the context.

Sansa, Jon, Arya, Bran, Rickon, Maester Luwin, Maester Adrian, and Duke Edmure sat in stunned silence. They watched steel planes that flew like birds, massive warships that looked like floating mountains, and speeding trains that defied the speed of any horse. They saw flat, paved roads stretching for miles and cities that glowed with a thousand artificial lights at night.

The group stayed in that room until dawn, mesmerized by the images. Bran was relentless, firing off question after question until Jason's throat was dry from explaining the mechanics of electricity and combustion.

When the sun rose, Jason finally turned off the projector. It was time to address the wider nobility. After a quick breakfast, the lords of the North and the Riverlands gathered in the Great Hall of Winterfell. The room was a cacophony of voices as the nobles discussed their tangled family ties and the rumors of the war at the Wall.

The noise died down instantly as Jason entered, flanked by Sansa, Bran, and Edmure. He walked to the high seat and looked out at the dozens of powerful men and women waiting for him.

"I know you are all curious about my army's weapons and the strange, delicious rations we carry," Jason announced, his voice echoing through the hall. "Today, I am going to reveal the truth to all of you."

He repeated the revelation he had given his family the night before. The hall erupted.

"Two worlds? Is that even possible?" "Earth? What kind of name is that?" "So that's how he supplied Castle Black! He brought it all from another world!"

The nobles shouted over one another, venting their shock and disbelief. Jason allowed the chaos to simmer before signaling Jon and his guards to set up the projector once more.

The effect was the same. The hardened lords of Westeros were rendered speechless by the sights of modern Earth. Stannis Baratheon sat perfectly still, his hands clenched into white-knuckled fists as he stared at the screen, his mind likely reeling from the realization that his claim to a chair made of swords seemed small compared to the power he was witnessing. Davos stood beside him, equally floored. Jason had intentionally invited them to ensure they understood that the era of traditional kings was over. Even Melisandre, the Red Priestess, looked lost; her magic had no explanation for the "science" appearing before her eyes.

As the footage ended, Jason stepped forward with a smile. "The country I come from is a peaceful one. They have power far beyond anything in Westeros, but they do not wish to conquer you. They wish to trade as equals."

He looked at Sansa, then back at the crowd. "As the Guardian of the North and a husband to a Stark, I am one of you now. I will ensure that this exchange benefits Westeros first. Today, we leave the old world behind and step into a new era—one of prosperity, stability, and happiness. That is my promise to you."
