Hana and Hina glanced at each other before nodding in agreement. They will keep the story hidden. Once Reko moved, heading towards Hokage building, they followed him.

Ch 173
"I was returning to my house when I heard the noises of a fight. Upon rushing, I caught a glimpse of a masked Shinobi escaping from my pockmarked house."
Momo explained her POV to Lady Tsunade. She gave a knowing glance on Reko when saying pockmarked.
"Yes, the guy really did numbers on the house. He was a strong Jounin."
Reko said. He did not back down from his claim that the enemy razed the house. Of course Momo guessed the truth to some extent.
The girls nodded in agreement. They also had to support Reko's version of the story. All three of them were together in it.
Momo and Tsunade exchanged glances but didn't say a word after hearing about the poison from two different sources, and then the intense fight.
"Any clue of the enemy's identity?"
Tsunade asked. The damage to the house was recoverable and the three of them came out safe from the attack. So, Tsunade wanted to focus on the enemy now.
"No specific style, a trained assassin. It would be wrong to point fingers."
Reko thought for a second before he shook his head, disappointed.
He could easily guess but they had no proof against the guy. It was better to let it be for the moment.
"Alright. I will get people to look into this."
Tsunade reassured them.
"The poison, you should have been more careful." Tsunade told Reko. It was careless of him to get poisoned that easily.
Even more so when he was under an unknown curse which ate his lifespan.
"Considering your condition, I will let it slide." She sighed as she rubbed her temple in frustration.
She could not hold it against him. Even when poisoned and unable to use Chakra, he still withstood the pain from the curse and managed to stall the assassin.
It was a commendable feat if not for his carelessness.
"You can leave."
Tsunade ordered them to leave. She had a lot to sort out.
…
"Now that I am homeless, you wouldn't happen to reject my stay at your house, right?"
Momo whispered to Reko. Her house was in such a bad state and she needed a new place to stay.
"Of course, my friends are welcome to self-invite themselves at my house."
Reko gave her a polite smile while saying it out loud. He wouldn't mind Hana, Momo, and Hina crashing at his place together. He would love to resume the fun that got ruined by the assassin.
Unfortunately for him, Momo was just teasing him. She already had plans with her daughter and Hina.
And it did not seem to be a normal plan either.
Reko's house
'Can't sleep, it is really unsettling to be attacked like this.'
He turned to the side as he couldn't sleep at all. He had to execute his plans but he kept playing around instead.
'I should leave. The curse is not going to resolve by itself.'
He thought. He got a little carried away after the things with Tsunade, and then Hina and Hana.
But not anymore!!
'Nice, they didn't take up my offer.'
He was genuinely curious about the development of his relationship and their relationship if all three of them actually accepted his proposal.
It would have been a fun night.
But he could do it later after curing himself of the curse.
Also, it could have gone both ways. He had no guarantee that Momo would have joined in with the two ladies.
But it was all for naught.
He had to think of the attacker first, especially the man behind the attack.
'Should I confront that guy? No, I cannot defend against that Dojutsu. I better not risk it.'
He had a strange thought for a second, wanting to confront Danzo for this attack.
If not for today's situation of helplessness, he would have actually gone for it. But the poison incident was more than enough to pull him down from his high horse.
Not to mention the Dojutsu under Danzo's possession. It could really become the end of his free life.
This task was also postponed for now, postponed until he grew strong enough to dominate the Kage's.
'What should I do then? I need to train very hard which seems unlikely with my lifespan.'
He sighed once again. He obviously had the potential to become strong but he didn't have enough time.
The clock was ticking for him and the only way to stop it was to get stronger, Sage Mode.
'I didn't manage to fill my Yin Seal, either.'
Another sigh escaped his mouth as he recalled the status of the Yin Seal he had learned with ease.
He had very high expectations for the technique. In fact, he would have tried it to get rid of the poison.
But he did not because of the amount stored. He was already pretty busy fighting the curse. Supplying the Yin Seal with Chakra was impossible at the moment.
He had good enough chakra reserves himself. But excess Chakra was always welcome.
"So, I have to leave? Is that it?"
Residing in the village was not going to help him. He had to resume his hunt for Akatsuki like he previously planned.
At least he could get something out of them. A few traits, some techniques.
Although it pained him to leave the beauties in the village, there was no other way.
He had to stop his personal conquests to get rid of that curse and then Akatsuki.
"Sage Mode."
He muttered as he sat in a meditative position, gathering Nature's Chakra to balance with his own pool.
A minute passed as Reko comfortably balanced his Chakra and activated Sage Mode.
His eyes opened, a shade of orange on his iris, giving him an otherworldly look.
"Time to leave."
Using his advanced senses, he looked for the seals he had left all over the village for his space-time technique.
A few seconds passed and then Reko vanished.
