The instant Angus saw Violet approaching him, he straightened immediately, forcing confidence back onto his battered face.
He sneered at her, desperately clinging onto whatever pride he had left.
"You think I'm powerless now?" He spat blood onto the floor. "Fine then. I'll show you why I was Alpha King back in the day."
But Violet kept walking toward him, completely unbothered by the threat. If anything, she looked insulted that he still had enough audacity to speak.
With a furious roar Angus swung his fist toward her face. Violet caught it effortlessly. Then she tightened her grip and a sickening crack filled the room.
Angus's confidence disappeared instantly as Violet slowly crushed the bones in his hand one after another. His lips parted soundlessly before a scream finally escaped him. The look on his face was almost comical as agony spread through him.
"Aghhh!"
