The Matebond inside Violet's chest bloomed the exact same moment the dragon's roar reverberated through the compound, shaking the building itself.
Roman? The realization hit her instantly.
"What is he doing here?" Violet blurted out in disbelief. "Does this mate of mine not understand the concept of rest?"
"We should have known he wouldn't stay still," Griffin said with a grin, sounding far less surprised than everyone else.
Immediately all of them hurried out of the throne room wanting to see exactly what Roman had dragged himself into this time.
By the time they stepped outside, the huge green dragon had already landed in the center of the yard.
Even though many of the wolves present had already witnessed Roman's dragon form earlier, they still instinctively kept their distance. Nobody dared stand too close to a creature that massive.
