White landscape all around, like a quiet world covered by snow, a soft world covered by the full moonlight.
Aliena was running towards something, she was alone now.
- But where are those birds, where is the village, where is that talkative fish? asked Aliena.
- Why will a vampinnight run so fast and not fly? she was wondering herself, but she kept running.
She really felt that she now was somewhere, anywhere and everywhere.
- Wow, look at me, I can run so fast, it feels like flying, but I don't even need to use my wings, I am so amazed of this world, look at me, I got my both pairs of wings, of angelinday and vampinnight, but I use my legs and run, I am not a vampinnight anymore! I am running so fast!
- Where Am I? Why is noone answering? wondered Aliena.
- You are in the air, in the middle of nowhere answered a cloud with a powerful voice.
- Exactly, right here and now, you are on an empty sheet of paper, answered a book, from the Library.
- But it should be night and dark, said Aliena.
- Why Am I in a Library and at the same time in the air?
- You are where you like to be, Aliena, answered that book again.
- How do you know where I like to be? asked Aliena.
- Because I am your book, Aliena, you are part of me, I am your universe.
- I like to read books, but now I am in a book, on an empty page. Wow, I am really glad to be able to run and be in a book at the same time.
- Aliena, keep running, run faster and faster! said the cloud again.
- But I am starting to get tired now, my red dress is again like a petal of rose. Maybe, I need to find those mooncakes, those mooncakes from that invisible kitchen. I need to stop and eat something tasty, I need a break.
- Yes, indeed, you need to stop running and look for the tasty mooncakes, said the Book.
- No, you need to run faster, Aliena, you need to run as fast as you fly, said the cloud.
Aliena was listening, she saw the Library floating in a cloud, now above dark waters, she kept running feeling the freedom of that moment.
She had to continue, she felt like running in a circle, around night and day, air and fire, wood and metal, water and blood, but she also felt that she could not stop running, she was a champion of that marathon of dreams.
