Lily twitched her lips.
"Who's she?" she echoed, her gaze turning icy. "Shouldn't I be the one asking you that?" Her brows arched sharply.
The middle-aged man shifted his eyes between Lily and the woman beside her, unease settling deep into his expression.
"This is more complicated than I thought," he muttered, choosing silence instead of explanation.
The woman clenched her teeth, fury blazing in her eyes. "This bitch dares to talk back?" she fumed inwardly before turning toward Liam. "Brother Liam," she called sweetly.
Before Liam could respond, a cold voice sliced through the air.
"It seems the only way to stop you from using that title is to cut off your tongue."
Angus's words sent an instant chill down her spine.
"Angus!" she screamed inwardly, already trembling.
Lily curled her lips into a faint smirk and turned toward the middle-aged man.
