For the first time in weeks, Julian could examine his own consciousness without feeling another presence lingering somewhere within it.
He remained still, keeping his expression unchanged as he tried to understand what had happened.
What exactly caused this?
He considered the possibilities one by one.
Maybe Olivia's memories had triggered something within Kraven's imprint?
After all, she had been speaking about his childhood - a period of his life that might have carried powerful emotions. It was possible that hearing those memories caused the remaining imprint to react for one final time.
But that alone did not explain why it disappeared so suddenly.
Unfortunately, Julian had no way of knowing what actually happened.
