After explaining the Aurors' roles, Alex turned to the four leaders in charge of the main assault.
"Our frontal attack team will break in through the front of the third floor for this raid."
He pointed deliberately toward the master bedroom's location.
"Phoenix's bedroom faces the street. We can fly up and break through the wall on the third floor, catching her completely off guard."
"Our first strike is critical, since she's likely unconscious. When attacking her, don't hold back, aim to seriously injure her right away. But if we find Phoenix is still awake and able to fight back after the initial attack, we'll move on to Plan B."
"Everyone needs to scatter right away to avoid being caught in the opponent's powerful group attack magic," Alex said firmly.
"I'll move forward to face Phoenix directly, while the other four of you cover the four corners," he continued with determination. "We'll use crossfire to launch a full-on attack and take her down as quickly as possible to stop the flames of war from spreading."
Andre and Moody nodded without hesitation, but Edmond hesitated.
"Are you sure? Our magic is stronger than usual, and it's not a joke, we could accidentally hurt you."
Alex smiled calmly and reassured him, "Don't worry, I know exactly what I'm doing."
"If Phoenix summons a bunch of corpses with magic or props, everyone remember to use fire magic to burn them away. Also, I've prepared [Constant Temperature Amulets] for everyone. These will protect you from extreme heat and prevent accidental burns."
He clearly explained the attack plan, meeting points, and positions before handing out a pile of gear like magic, tactical talismans, jammers, [Tracking Glasses], [Communication Headsets], [Tactical Vests], and more.
The [Constant Temperature Amulet] was something Alex had developed after his trip to Northern Europe.
Originally designed to keep people warm in harsh cold climates, it also had the side benefit of protecting against high temperatures.
He thought it might be popular in places with extreme weather, so he brought some trial samples to share.
The other wizards accepted them without question; they were familiar with these kinds of devices since they'd used them before, even though Alex had taken them back when they ran out last time because they were expensive to make.
Only Edmond and Allen looked puzzled; they didn't understand what all this gear was but, seeing everyone else's ease with it, they quickly learned how to put it together and get ready.
After a while, everyone was ready.
Alex pulled out his wand and slipped it into the tail of his long sword.
When combined with his spell, the sword immediately crackled with electricity, almost as if eager for action.
Then, he produced three [Runesguard Sphere], gently lifting them into the air.
The three silver spheres circled around him like obedient elves before settling in a perfect equilateral triangle behind his head.
Edmund was taken aback by Alex's unusual weapon, a long sword.
It was definitely unique, but the energy radiating from it seemed almost too flashy.
As Edmund pondered the variety of gear Alex was using, Alex gave a signal.
"The operation starts now. Everyone, get into battle positions."
"Yes!" the Aurors, including Andre and Moody, shouted in unison.
They simultaneously activated Apparition and vanished from the room in an instant.
Only Edmund, who had reacted a bit slower, was left behind.
"Brother, it looks like everyone's already gone...," Alan muttered, feeling out of place among the coordinated team.
"Then what are you waiting for? Let's follow them!" Edmund snapped, frustrated with the delay.
He grabbed Alan's arm and Apparated after the others.
When they arrived at the pre-arranged meeting spot, only Alex, Andre, and Moody were there, guarding the base of the wall.
The rest of the Aurors had already spread out, stealthily surrounding the target house.
This was what being a professional looked like.
Edmund had doubted Alex's skills before, but now he realized how much of a gap there really was between them.
'No holding back from here on out,' he thought bitterly.
Despite feeling out of place, Edmund quickly pulled Alan to stand against the wall like a trained soldier, slipping into the shadows to stay hidden.
Seeing that both brothers Schmidt were in position, Alex took out his pocket watch and checked the time carefully.
Then, looking across at the target house, he spoke calmly into their communication earpieces:
"Everyone, check your watches. It's 11:57."
About two and a half minutes later, the security team activated the jammer.
Three minutes after that, all the staff began acting on cue.
"Received!" came a series of low, steady replies through the earphones, including from Andre and Moody, who were standing right in front of them.
Meanwhile, Edmund and his brother could only respond as best they could, even though Edmund felt awkward and a bit confused by how foolish he must have looked.
Once Alex finished relaying the order, he turned to the four others leaning against the wall.
"You all should get ready. I'll be the one to break through the wall, so I'll go ahead first. Find good positions and don't bunch up."
"Don't worry," Moody said with a greedy grin, licking his lips. "It's just killing someone. We've sent enough people to give Phoenix Order a run for their money. The real challenge is staying hidden. As long as you don't cast flashy spells that spread everywhere... I'll take her out with Avada Kedavra myself."
Edmund immediately decided to keep his distance from Moody.
Something about the man felt off.
"Don't be reckless," Andre snapped, shooting Moody a sharp look. "This operation could have big consequences. If you make a scene, it'll be a nightmare to clean up."
Then Andre pulled out his broomstick and took his place.
Seeing this, the others stopped joking and also pulled out their broomsticks, ready to take off.
Only Alex kept his eyes fixed on the pocket watch in his hand.
When the countdown reached half a minute, the scattered Aurors carefully pulled out the jammers Alex had handed them and set them up one by one.
With just ten seconds left, Alex's voice came through their earpieces again.
"Everyone in position. Start the countdown: 10, 9... 3, 2, 1, go!"
As he said this softly, Alex snapped open his flying cloak and shot forward like an arrow from a bow.
The four others weren't far behind, following closely on their broomsticks.
Outside the houses on both sides of the street, the Aurors quickly activated their Amulets of Silence and broke in, working swiftly to evacuate the Muggles as fast as possible.
In just two seconds, Alex dashed to the opposite side of the street, grabbed a longsword, took aim, and stabbed fiercely.
From the tip of his sword, an enhanced version of the "Background" curse shot forward, blasting through the stone wall with a deafening boom.
