Chapter 411 - Chapter 411: Allen Continent

Kalia was taken aback upon learning that the young boy hailed from the so-called Allen Continent. Could there truly be another vast territory? The mention of a continent intrigued her.

She knew well that both the Sebas and Ellie regions were relatively small territories; technically, they could be considered large islands rather than true continents.

From her studies, Kalia had learned that long ago, the Sebas and Ellie regions were once united but later separated, forming two distinct regions. It was said that the actual size of a genuine continent far surpasses the combined area of these two regions, highlighting just how immense a real continent would be.

As their conversation continued, Kalia posed more questions, sensing the significance of this discovery—a previously unknown new continent. No one had any idea what kind of place it might be.

The youth found Kalia's inquiries increasingly peculiar and asked in return, "You're not from our Allen Continent?"

Gradually, he realized that Kalia might not be a Trainer from the Allen Continent due to the unusual nature of her questions. Even if he were naive, he couldn't miss the implications.

This revelation brought both surprise and intrigue to Karl. He had never known that other continents existed within this world.

"Yes, I'm from the Sebas region. How many high-level Trainers are there on your Allen Continent?" Kalia asked curiously.

"High-level Trainers? There should be around two thousand, at least," Karl pondered before responding. Considering the vastness of the Allen Continent, he believed the number could easily exceed two thousand or even more.

"Wow!" Kalia gasped. Regardless of whether the boy's claim was true, the existence of over two thousand high-level Trainers would be astonishing. Such a concentration of power was truly formidable.

In contrast, the entire Sebas region boasted only a handful of high-level Trainers, likely fewer than five hundred when combined with neighboring areas.

After further questioning, Kalia learned that the Allen Continent was immense, governed by its own Pokemon League, and home to over thirty billion people.

"The Pokemon League... Could it be that they already knew about this?" Kalia couldn't help but suspect some connection. With both regions having their respective Pokemon Leagues, it raised the possibility that the Sebas region's League might have originated from the Allen Continent.

According to the boy, the Pokemon League on the Allen Continent had been established long ago, at least over five hundred years prior, significantly earlier than the Sebas region's League.

"I must inform the Pokemon League about this," Kalia realized the importance of her discovery. Likely, very few people knew about such a vast continent's existence.

"How did you arrive in the Dream World?" Kalia asked further. The Allen Continent must be distant from the entire Sebas region, so how could he reach here?

This place is the reflection of reality within the Sebas region; logically, entering the Dream World should not connect with the Allen Continent's real-world counterpart.

"Of course, through Darkrai's power," the boy responded matter-of-factly. Although mysterious, the Dream World was no longer a secret to those on the Allen Continent.

"Darkrai, the Nightmare Pokémon?" Kalia exclaimed, surprised. She had only heard legends about Darkrai but never encountered it herself. Could it be because they went to the Allen Continent?

Kalia had harbored suspicions for quite some time. Considering the relatively small size of both Ellie and Sebas regions, it seemed odd that nobody had ever seen many of the legendary Pokémon mentioned in tales.

Considering over twenty legendary Pokémon have been documented, yet Kalia had encountered very few of them. It raises the question: Are these creatures truly hiding?

"Indeed! We were able to enter this realm thanks to Darkrai's power; my brother captured it," Karl said proudly. Even on the Allen Continent, sightings of legendary Pokémon are rare, so capturing one is a testament to his brother's prowess.

"Captured a legendary Pokémon?" Kalia was once again astonished.

Even Lian was surprised, as Darkrai is no weakling, boasting a total base stat of 600. According to legends, it wields the power of nightmares, capable of trapping people within eternal dreams.

"You should let me go now; I need to return." Karl spoke up, explaining that while Darkrai's power allows unlimited access to the Dream World, he couldn't stay indefinitely. He must return or risk getting lost himself.

"Oh right, is this little Zapdos yours?" Karl asked, glancing at the Zapdos. "Impressive! You've managed to tame even a Zapdos."

Seeing Zapdos calmly near Charizard, Karl assumed it had already been tamed. As a legendary Pokémon, its peaceful presence beside Charizard might lead others to believe it belongs to Kalia.

"If I have spare time again, I'll come back to challenge you. Your Pokémon are indeed powerful, but this time, I didn't bring my strongest ones," Karl remarked, clearly showing some dissatisfaction. His visit to the Dream World was primarily for training his Pokémon, leaving his main team behind in reality.

"Sure."

Kalia also expressed interest in learning more about the Allen Continent; its mysteries piqued her curiosity, wondering what kind of place it truly was.

After Karl's departure, Kalia remained stunned, and Julian wore a similarly astonished expression. The revelation surpassed their imagination - realizing that the world extended far beyond their initial understanding with even larger continents existing.

"Little Zapdos, please bear with me for now, enter the Dream Ball."

Shortly after, Kalia tossed the Dream Ball. To bring Zapdos back to reality, she needed it to be captured within the Dream Ball first, enabling them to transport it alongside the main Zapdos later.

As for the Dream Ball, they could simply destroy it afterward. Kalia had no intention of permanently capturing Zapdos; there was no need as her fifth Pokémon slot wasn't reserved for it.

Swiftly, Zapdos obediently entered the Dream Ball. Then, both Kalia and Julian returned to their cabin. With Zapdos located, there was no reason to stay longer; they could always return another time.

Upon returning to their cabin, they lay down, closed their eyes, and upon reopening them, found themselves back at the research institute.

"So quick?" Professor Evergreen exclaimed, astonished by their swift return; it had barely been any time since Kalia and Julian left.

"Professor, I have something crucial to discuss with you," Kalia began gravely. The information about the Allen Continent was immensely significant, as it represented a more advanced and powerful region compared to Sebas.

"What's the matter?" Professor Evergreen asked, puzzled, wondering if there were new discoveries related to the Dream World based on Kalia's serious expression.

"It's about another continent. In the Dream World, I learned that this world contains a vast landmass beyond our knowledge," Kalia explained.

"A continent?" Professor Evergreen was taken aback.

Kalia swiftly shared all she knew with Professor Evergreen, as the existence of the Allen Continent held immense importance and could potentially lead to unforeseen changes.

For instance, whether the Allen Continent has discovered the presence of the Sebas and Ellie regions, and what their intentions might be towards these other territories. Overall, this revelation could significantly impact the fate of everyone in the Sebas region.
