"The Heavenly Tribulation may arrive earlier than expected, perhaps even sooner than you can accept—there's a possibility it could happen in the next second," Fu Xi said.
Ye Fan replied, "So what? The Heavenly Tribulation is both my opportunity for improvement and my disaster. I don't think there is any unwillingness in facing it; it's something obvious that I need to confront. I'm just an ordinary human, my time in cultivation isn't long. Even if I die, I won't have much regret. I feel it would be more unacceptable for you ancient cultivators to die in the Heavenly Tribulation. The ones who should resist it are actually you."
