Mo Xiu sat silently in the chair, as Legion Commander Qian Lin spoke to him.
"Mo Xiu, don't fall for it. They're deliberately trying to provoke you, to make you abandon the retreat plan."
"Qian Lin, I haven't been provoked by them, nor have I been influenced. But considering we're retreating with so many weapons and supplies, do you think we can safely withdraw? If they attack us, do you think we can leave unscathed?"
Mo Xiu asked logically.
"We definitely can't win in a battle, so we'll retreat as much as we can. The Three Forbidden Zones are already pulling back troops; the Federation simply doesn't have extra forces to assist our retreat. If we don't retreat now, once forces from other areas have withdrawn, we might end up isolated, and then we'll truly be doomed."
Qian Lin paused slightly, then replied after a few seconds of silence.
