Ye Shu's hand froze in midair for a moment before he retracted it.
He looked at Lin Zheng, who was sitting on the ground in defeat, and said blandly, "Aren't you embarrassed enough?"
Lin Zheng wasn't appreciative at all. He turned half his face, unable to hide his disgust, and said with a cold, mocking ting in his voice:
"What, you think just because you paid my bar tab and helped me out of trouble, you can replace my father and lecture me?"
Lin Zheng's words were full of cold hostility, causing Ye Shu's eyes to slowly lower.
His dark and gloomy nature kept him from getting angry, and he held his emotions in check.
"If I hadn't come, were you really planning to take a life?"
"Do you think I can't accomplish anything without you?"
Lin Zheng inhaled sharply and looked straight at Ye Shu, sneering:
"Ye Shu, stop being so full of yourself. You're nothing more than a house dog raised by my Lin Family!
