{Transitioning to Shin}
After returning to the real world, Shin once again awoke on his own bed.
It seemed that no matter where he had gone using "King's Army," as long as he ultimately exited the mission world through the system, his body would still be sent back to its initial position.
That is to say, his own bed.
Shin raised his head and looked at the window of his room—although the curtains were drawn, sunlight was streaming through the gaps in the curtains. Clearly, it was already completely bright outside.
Originally, Shin had wanted to visit the Touhou Project world after finishing with the Fate/Stay Night and One Punch Man worlds.
But now it seemed there was no time for that temporarily. His plan to explore the new mission world would have to be postponed until tonight.
Sighing, Shin looked at the several people still lying on his bed.
Since it was already bright outside, most of those who had fallen asleep with Shin last night had already gotten up and washed up.
Needless to say about Tohru, Katou Megumi and Ogiwara Sayu had also already gotten up, so their figures couldn't be seen on the bed.
Only Irisviel was still lying peacefully on the bed as usual, sleeping soundly. Besides her, there was also a new figure hugging Shin's waist, sleeping very deeply.
"Time to wake up, Gabriel. You still have to go to school, don't you?"
Shin pulled Gabriel, who was hugging his waist, off him with some exasperation—he had clearly just been sent back to the bed by the system, yet this girl had immediately latched onto him.
Moreover, looking at Gabriel's expression, she seemed to be having some kind of pleasant dream, smiling somewhat foolishly.
If it were anyone else showing this kind of expression while dreaming, Shin would probably guess they were having some puberty-related lewd dream.
But since it was Gabriel showing this expression, Shin had to suspect that Gabriel was dreaming about some good equipment dropping in a game.
"Mm... Is it already morning?"
Being pulled away by Shin, Gabriel also groggily woke up—since she hadn't stayed up late playing games, Gabriel was unusually energetic when she woke up this time.
After all, Gabriel usually stayed up late playing games. For her, the bed at home was only for napping; the desk at school was the place for sleeping.
Because she was sleeping in Shin's room this time, Gabriel hadn't set her phone alarm, so she had slept straight through until Shin woke her up.
"That's right, hurry up and get up. You're a maid, yet you're getting up later than me, your master."
Shin looked at Gabriel somewhat amusedly and sat up from the bed, saying to Gabriel who was still rubbing her eyes.
"Because I was sleeping at your house, I didn't set an alarm."
Gabriel yawned and also sat up, then glanced at Irisviel lying naked next to Shin, unable to help but reveal a somewhat complex expression.
Although she didn't have much sense of propriety, last night's experience of being brought to the point of nearly passing out together with other females by Shin was still a bit too stimulating.
Heaven certainly wouldn't teach such embarrassing things. As a graduate of Heaven, Gabriel was also experiencing such things for the first time.
"By the way, when I saw you sleeping just now, your expression was very strange. Did you dream about something good?"
Shin got down from the bed, took out clothes from the closet to put on, and casually asked Gabriel.
Originally, in Shin's expectations, Gabriel should have said something like "I dreamed that epic-level equipment dropped in a new dungeon."
However, when he finished putting on his clothes and looked at Gabriel, he found Gabriel looking at him with a completely red face, then turning her head away without answering Shin's question.
Shin wasn't an idiot either. Seeing this reaction, he immediately understood.
It seemed that the "pleasant dream" Gabriel had while sleeping really wasn't game-related content, but rather something related to himself.
Moreover, judging by her completely red face, the dream related to him probably wasn't very proper either.
Originally just a shut-in angel addicted to games who wasn't interested in anything besides games, now she had been trained by him to the point where her brain was starting to produce yellow garbage.
In a certain sense, Shin also felt quite accomplished.
After washing up with Gabriel, Shin came to the dining room together with her.
Today's dining room was quite lively—besides the people from Shin's house, there were also several more "uninvited guests."
"Tch, I didn't expect you all would follow here too."
At the dining table, Sitonai looked at Rin Tohsaka, Sakura Matou, and Reines sitting across from her, couldn't help but click her tongue lightly, and revealed a somewhat displeased expression on her face.
After all, they came from the same world as Sitonai, but these people obviously all had unusual thoughts about Shin, so Sitonai naturally wouldn't give them a pleasant look.
In the original world, they were enemies in the Holy Grail War. Now in a different place, they were also enemies competing for Shin.
"After all, I am Shin-san's Master. It's not strange for me to follow, is it?"
Reines responded to Sitonai's words with a smile—they had already learned about the situation at home from Tohru beforehand and knew that Sitonai was here.
Although they felt somewhat unhappy about the fact that there were many girls in Shin's house, they obviously weren't planning to give up competing for Shin either.
"Well... if there are more people, it's quite lively."
Ogiwara Sayu laughed awkwardly on the side. She was probably the person present who had the least drive in competing "in that aspect."
She had always been satisfied just being able to stay by Shin's side, without any further extravagant desires.
"However, didn't Tohru-san say there were two more people just now? Why aren't they here?"
Illya sat beside Sitonai. Although she looked exactly like Sitonai, their personalities were quite different.
She was now more curious about why—Tohru clearly said Shin had brought five people back, so why were there only three people at the breakfast table?
"The other two people... are rather special. They don't need to eat either."
Rin Tohsaka laughed awkwardly. Facing Illya, who looked the same as Sitonai but was more like a child, she also answered while choosing her words as carefully as possible.
"So those two are outside now, saying they want to familiarize themselves with the area."
The other two people were, of course, Mordred and Medusa as Heroic Spirits—those two only needed mana to sustain themselves and indeed didn't need to eat.
Just as the several people in the dining room were conversing, Shin also came in with Gabriel.
Although everyone in the dining room looked toward him the instant Shin walked into the dining room, Shin still acted as if nothing was wrong, smiling at everyone and saying:
"What's wrong? Why are you all looking at me like that?"
To be continued…
