Just as his emotions surged, the deafening whistle sounded thunderously from the front.
In an instant, a giant beast forged from steel roared with earsplitting sound, its long carriages rushing forth with thunderous momentum.
On its back, it bore a chimney like a cannon barrel, steam rose into the sky. The wheels and steel tracks rubbed together producing a thundering roar, as if even the mountains in the distance trembled under its majesty.
The passing pedestrians seemed long accustomed to this; however, Elaric was startled and jumped from his seat.
"What… what is that?!"
Staring at the rushing train, Sir Wesley's eyes flickered with undisguisable pride.
"This is a train, my lord. It's a new tool we just introduced from our allies. It can transport the goods of hundreds of carts at once from the south of Thunder County to the north, and then bring the products people have made back here."
Elaric gaped, speechless for a long time.
