While the men were on their 'meeting' Rina and the Lunas were in the living room. Rina had cleared out everything to make it big.
They were all lying down as the massueurs worked on them. Soon the room was filled with pleasurable grunts as the women felt the knots were worked out if their system.
Even Luna Tyra had her eyes closed as she enjoyed the massaging.
After the massages, the women relaxed while their faces were rubbed with various ointments.
Rather than have a meeting, they joked around and gossiped about their mates and packs.
Rina smiled as she saw them happy and giggling like little girls.
This women had taken on big duties as the Lunas of their pack. She was happy that she had been able to give this to them.
And then it was the time for the final party, the Lunas all looked beautiful. They hadnt slaved all day cooking, or had boring lectures.
They looked well rested and they had the time to dress properly.
The food was wonderful and the drinks flowed in abundance.
"it seemed you did a wonderful job" Rina felt hands encircling her waist.
She turned around to put her arms around his neck.
"I did a wonderful job" she told Rafaele.
"well done" he told her.
"So do you concur that I win?" she asked teasingly.
"well the night isn't over yet" he told her.
"Rafaele!"
"Okay, okay, what do you want?" he asked her.
Before she could reply she heard a loud scream.
The party stopped, someone stopped the music.
It was Darla, her gown was torn and she looked a mess.
"Darla, what happened?" Luna Tyra asked, she was fussing over her daughter.
Alpha Tim was taking off his jacket to cover her.
"He... He... He... He" Darla stuttered as she sobbed.
Nani entered the room followed by Jax. And lastly Rain and Damien.
Rina looked at them in confusion, something was wrong but she couldn't place it.
"Who did this to you? Tell us." Luna Tyra asked.
"Yes, come on Darla, don't be afraid. I am here, I will kill the man who dated to do this to you."
Darla raised her hand and pointed to Rain. "he did it, he raped me" she screamed.
Jax face went white with fear, he walked towards Darla.
"Darla, what are you saying?"
Darla screamed, "Don't let him come near me, he will kill me"
Alpha Tim was looking at Rain fiercely, he would kill the boy if he even approached his daughter.
Rafaele walked closer.
"Guards take Rain custody in the dungeons."
The pack guards took Rain in their arms. Rain struggled in their arms.
"Rafaele, it's a lie, I would never do something like this." he screamed as he was taken away.
Rina walked up to Rafaele. "What are you doing?" she whispered.
"It's for his own safety" Rafaele whispered back.
Rina looked around the room, everyone looked hostile. Taking Rain away was the only way to keep him safe.
"Alpha Rafaele, what is the meaning of this?" Alpha Tim asked.
"I am also confused, Rain has never done something like this before. I am sure there is a misunderstanding" Rafaele said.
"What misunderstanding? Are you trying to say my daughter is lying?" Luna Tyra asked.
"No ma'am, please try to bear with us, we are also shocked." Rina tried to calm her down.
"You! This is all your fault" Luna Tyra told her.
"My fault? How?" Rina asked.
"If we had done the pack meeting the way we always did, this wouldn't have happened. Lunas aren't meant to have fun at meetings. They are meant to have their duties. If someone had been in charge of the young ones, this wouldn't have happened." she spat out with such venom it shocked Rina.
She wanted to object but Rafaele whispered in her ears.
"Don't engage with her" he told her.
Rina kept quiet.
"we will take our daughter home, she needs rest but I will be in touch. I will leave some of my guards here to make sure Rain doesn't escape" Alpha Tim told Rafaele.
"That's okay" Rafaele replied.
The party came to a stop. Everyone went home talking in hushed tones.
Rina sat down on a chair. What had just happened?
"Rain didn't do that Rafaele, you know what he is capable of." Luna Rosa pleaded with Rafaele.
"and he despises that girl Darla, you know that" Jax added.
Rafaele sighed, running his hands through his hair. "I need to talk to him, I need to find out what happened" he said.
He walked out of the house to the pack holding cells.
He nodded to Alpha Tim's sentries standing guard outside.
If only they knew there was more than one way to leave the holding cells and standing guard outside wasn't of much use.
But Rafaele wouldn't do that, he was a man of dignity.
As soon as his guards saw him, they bowed and excused themselves giving him privacy.
Rafaele nodded and opened the door entering the cell.
Rain stood up, he looked angry, his face in a scowl.
"Why did you lock me up here? I didn't do it." he asked Rafaele.
Rafaele sighed as he sat down on the sole chair on the room.
"It was for your safety Rain, Alpha Tim would have attacked you"
"It made me look guilty" Rain fired back.
Sometimes Rafaele wondered what his father had been thinking when he name his brother 'Rain'. 'Thunder', 'Storm', 'Lightening' would have sufficed.
"Rain, please tell me what happened." he pleaded.
"I saw Darla crying, her gown was already torn and she already had bruises. I tapped her but she was crying, I helped her stand up but she clung on to me crying. I comforted her but all of a sudden she left me and ran away, I chased her but I couldn't find her. I went to look for Damien to tell him what happened, I went back to the hall with him and saw Darla accusing me of rape." Rain narrated. He looked up at Rafaele,"Do you believe me?" he asked.
"I do" Rafaele replied. He did believe his brother but would the world believe him?
