Phoebe stood outside the shimmering entrance to the room.
She wore a tight-fitting black office suit that complemented her very wide hips and full body. She wasn't slim, but no one would say that she was fat either.
She pulled on the hem of her blazer, looking down with a little hint of nervousness.
She shouldn't be nervous, she knew that. She was more than a million years older than this All-King and had way more experience than her.
But experience did not matter in the face of brute strength now did it?
As she stood there, she felt the slightest bit of vibration coming from the room. This place was supposed to be so strong and insulated that even if a nuclear bomb were detonated inside, no one would ever know.
Yet, here she was, feeling some vibrations. She could only wonder what they were doing there.
Phoebe sighed and used her finger to brush the straight black hair that was blocking her view.
She brushed it to the side, tucking it behind her ear.
