In fact, if life is gone, having freedom is indeed a mistake. But if there is no freedom and only life, isn't that even more painful?
Which is more incomprehensible, a life worse than death, or death itself? Does everything now really offer them relief?
They have never thought there was anything they could accomplish because they do not understand the true meaning of survival. The so-called taking it into the soil or the coffin, honestly, if becoming a ghost means you can look like whatever you want, that wouldn't be so bad.
The fear is that even if you become a ghost, you still can't get what you want. If that's really the case, then their death is utterly worthless.
