Chapter 211 - Infinity Wars: Power Unlimited <Pt 5>

Bathed in the overwhelming aura of Super Saiyan 3, William disappeared in a crackling burst of electrified energy, reappearing instantaneously before Kallark with his fist already driving toward the latter's abdomen. Kallark, reacting purely on instinct, intercepted the strike, yet the sheer force tore his feet from the Moon's surface, sending him hurtling into the vast expanse between the Moon and Earth. Spinning backward through the void, Kallark's eyes ignited with a deep crimson glow as he unleashed a colossal energy blast, a relentless surge advancing toward William with the inevitability of a crimson tide of destruction.

"KA...ME...HA..."

A sphere of hyperdense blue ki spiraled into existence between William's fingers, swelling in size until its radiance spilled beyond his grasp.

RUMBLE!

The incoming red beam loomed close, shaking and distorting the very fabric of space in its wake.

"ME..."

Time seemed to slow as the deadly beam neared. Kallark's manic grin widened, confident in the absolute devastation of his full-powered assault.

"HAAAAAAA!"

William unleashed the roaring blue orb of ki, shattering the crimson energy like a brick smashing through glass. The beam surged halfway back toward Kallark before the smile vanished from his face. In defiance, he roared with bloodthirsty intensity, pouring even greater power into his optical beams in a final, desperate counterattack.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!"

The red beam erupted with renewed intensity, surging forward against William's Kamehameha and steadily forcing the blue beam backward. The clash of raw, unyielding energy grew in magnitude until it reached a tense stalemate, each beam locked in place, neither warrior able to claim the advantage. Meanwhile, far above the Earth, the Saiyans and Kandorians had abandoned all restraint, locked in relentless and ferocious battle. Streams of ki blazed through the sky as Vegeta fixed his sights on Commander General Zod of the Kandorians, who moved with effortless precision among the surrounding combatants, gliding like a fish through water or a bird riding the wind. Vegeta's blast narrowly missed its mark, the searing energy passing so close that it nearly scorched the insignia of Zod's clan emblazoned on his chest.

Undeterred by the constant barrage of ki attacks, Zod remained composed, his lifelong military discipline evident as he closed in on his opponent.

Vegeta, gritting his teeth in mounting frustration, unleashed a final surge of ki and charged directly at his foe.

BOOM!

Their fists collided with devastating force, sending a shockwave rippling outward that swept nearby fighters away.

Vegeta launched a swift kick aimed at Zod's head, but the seasoned warrior effortlessly tilted his head, causing the strike to narrowly miss. In the same instant, Zod's eyes blazed crimson as he unleashed a rapid yet potent burst of optic lasers toward Vegeta. The Saiyan prince quickly crossed his arms to shield himself, the beam slamming into him with searing heat that penetrated his ki defenses, scorching his skin and driving him backward.

"AAAAHHH!" Vegeta roared in agony, the intense temperature burning through despite his protective energy barrier, while the sheer force of the blast sent him skidding away.

WHOOSH!

In response, Vegeta's ki flared to its absolute peak, crackling violently with arcs of lethal electricity. Before Zod could react, Vegeta's fist was already inches from his face, forcing the Kryptonian general to jerk his head aside to avoid taking the full brunt of the devastating blow.

Zod tilted his head just as Vegeta's fist tore past, unleashing a shockwave through the void that obliterated an unfortunate nearby Saiyan into drifting stardust. The Kryptonian General pivoted with flawless precision, his counterstrike driving toward Vegeta's ribs, but the Saiyan prince twisted midair, his golden aura erupting violently as his knee smashed upward into Zod's jaw.

CRACK!

The impact hurled Zod backward, his body tumbling through the emptiness before he righted himself with a feral snarl. A thin ribbon of blood drifted upward, instantly vaporized in the heat radiating from his own aura.

"Pathetic!" Vegeta roared, the golden storm surrounding him flaring brighter, his grin fierce and unyielding. "You're no warrior, you're a soldier! What can you possibly do before Prince Vegeta?"

Zod wiped his mouth, the crimson streak across his thumb catching the faint starlight. "And you," he replied with icy composure, "are you so different, servant of Thanos?"

Vegeta's aura detonated, making the void itself quake as he blurred forward.

They clashed again, fist against fist, bone against bone.

BOOM!

BOOM!

BOOM!

Each collision rattled the heavens. Zod's strikes carried the precision of military training and the weight of countless battles, but Vegeta's relentless ferocity began to tip the balance. The Saiyan's attacks grew faster, sharper, and increasingly unpredictable, his savage grin widening with every blow that struck its mark.

Zod's forearms gave way beneath a relentless flurry of punches, each blow tearing through his guard like meteors smashing into reinforced armor. A sudden spinning kick struck his temple with precision, sending him staggering backward. Above him, Vegeta materialized, hands cupped together as an intense sphere of blue ki began to condense between his palms.

"BIG BANG—"

Zod lifted his arms in a defensive cross, his eyes narrowing with grim recognition.

"—ATTACK!"

The ensuing blast consumed the battlefield in a blinding surge of light. A detonation of planetary magnitude rippled outward, erasing craters, scattering pulverized debris, and knocking surrounding fighters off balance. When the glare subsided, Zod lay wedged deep into the lunar bedrock, his armor fractured, smoke curling in thin streams from his tattered cape.

Vegeta descended with deliberate slowness, a smirk etched across his face. "So much for your military discipline."

He leveled his palm at Zod's chest, a dense, pulsing orb of energy forming, poised to deliver the final blow.

Then—

A shift occurred.

Zod's breathing evened. The tremor in his frame vanished. The pained flicker in his eyes dissolved, replaced by a calm, argent radiance.

The dust suspended in the air ceased its motion.

The roar of Vegeta's aura faded into an oppressive, unnatural silence, as though stillness itself had swallowed the chaos.

"Torquasm-Vo…" Zod murmured, his tone unnervingly calm. "You cannot comprehend what you face, Saiyan."

Vegeta's eyes narrowed. "Tch, what trickery is this?"

Reality warped.

Zod's gaze lifted, revealing twin crescents of argent radiance blazing like silver moons. His aura transformed, shedding its crimson blaze for a pale, ethereal silver that pulsed in steady, rhythmic waves. Vegeta's instincts howled as the Kryptonian's ki, no, his very presence, vanished entirely. It was not mere suppression; it was ascension.

One heartbeat passed.

Then Zod struck.

WHOOOM!

In an instant, he materialized behind Vegeta, moving beyond even the Saiyan's honed reflexes. A precise palm strike slammed into Vegeta's spine, sending a surge of electric agony ripping through his body.

"AGHH!"

Before Vegeta could react, Zod's fist drove into his side, followed by a crushing blow to his jaw, then his abdomen, each strike measured, deliberate, and executed with flawless, almost surgical precision, forming a brutal cadence of impact.

Zod neither shouted nor snarled; his expression remained calm, his movements governed by something beyond instinct, a pure, deliberate mastery where will and body were seamlessly intertwined.

Vegeta skidded across the battlefield, gouging trenches in the lunar dust before slamming his fists into the ground and propelling himself back into the air.

Blood traced a line from the corner of his mouth, fury igniting in his eyes. "What the hell did you do!?" he demanded.

Zod stood unmoving in the stillness, silver light burning in his gaze. "Torquasm-Vo," he replied evenly, "the unification of body and mind. A state where hesitation cannot exist, where thought becomes motion." With a calm, almost mocking gesture, he beckoned Vegeta forward.

"Show me your resolve, Saiyan Prince."

Vegeta growled, wiping the blood from his chin as his aura flared violently, gold lightning fracturing the sky. "You asked for it." In a flash, he vanished, fists blazing like miniature suns.

Yet in every clash that followed, Zod's responses seemed inevitable, meeting each blow just before it landed, countering with flawless precision and redirecting power with effortless grace.

The battle's rhythm shifted from chaotic fury to an unstoppable, flowing inevitability.

BOOM.

BOOM.

BOOM.

Each impact sent waves of light rippling through the stars.

For the first time, Vegeta was driven back, not by overwhelming force, but by the chilling perfection of absolute mastery.

Zod's movements became a blur of flawless precision, each strike accompanied by the muted hum of air rupturing in his wake.

Every action was calculated, deliberate, entirely free of excess motion. To an onlooker, the exchange resembled not so much a battle as the physical manifestation of inevitability itself.

Vegeta's body smashed into one cratered ridge after another, each collision scattering lunar dust into the void in shimmering waves of silver mist.

A fracture traced its way down the center of his chest plate, his breathing ragged and seething with fury.

"Damn you!" he roared, droplets of blood suspended in the vacuum before dissipating within the blaze of his golden aura. "You think calm makes you stronger? You think serenity can stop a Saiyan?!" Zod descended without a sound, arms resting at his sides, his silver aura pulsing once before returning to stillness.

"It is not serenity," he said evenly. "It is truth. A warrior ruled by emotion is confined by it. You are predictable." The word landed with a force greater than any blow.

Predictable.

Vegeta's snarl tightened, his aura erupting in jagged, violent bursts.

He lunged with renewed ferocity, unleashing a relentless barrage that fractured the ground beneath their feet, yet Zod slipped through the assault as if time itself shifted to accommodate him.

Every punch missed by a whisper, every kick was turned aside with a graceful redirection or a subtle shift of his frame. Then, CRACK!

A crushing blow to Vegeta's sternum sent him staggering back, breath torn from his lungs. Zod pressed the assault, knife-hand to the neck, followed by a brutal double-palm strike that catapulted the Saiyan into the endless void.

Vegeta's response was a wordless scream, his rage boiling over into pure, unchained hatred. He froze in midair, eyes blazing with fierce defiance, his trembling aura betraying its unstable ferocity.

"YOU THINK YOU CAN READ ME!?" he bellowed, his voice ripping through the vacuum on sheer willpower alone. "THEN TRY AND READ THIS!"

The void itself quaked.

A colossal shockwave erupted, flinging debris outward as his golden aura writhed and expanded, arcs of electricity tearing through the darkness. His hair shot skyward, muscles coiling tight, veins bulging beneath scorched, battle-worn skin.

"RRRRRRAAAAAAAGGGHHHHH!!!"

Light flared brighter and brighter, gold bleeding into searing white, his aura shrieking like a storm made flesh. Even Zod faltered, stepping back as the crushing weight of Vegeta's ki warped the space around them.

Jagged fissures of light ripped through the air.

His roar climbed higher, primal, boundless, fury and pride fused into a single, unstoppable cry.

Then came stillness.

The detonation followed a heartbeat later.

A blinding sphere of energy erupted across the battlefield, annihilating nearby debris and rending the Moon's surface with molten-gold fractures that pulsed like living veins.

As the radiance faded, Vegeta hovered at the epicenter, utterly transformed. His hair cascaded in thick, golden locks past his shoulders, his brow carved into a visage of primal wrath, and arcs of relentless lightning danced around him as the very void shuddered beneath his power.

Super Saiyan 3.

His eyes snapped open, burning with cold emerald fire.

"You were right, Kryptonian," he intoned, his deeper voice thrumming with raw ki.

"Emotion does bind me, but it is the chain that drags me toward victory." In the blink of an eye, he vanished.

Zod barely had time to register the blur before Vegeta's knee drove into his gut, folding him in half as blood sprayed into the air.

Before the Kryptonian could react, a crushing elbow smashed into the back of his neck, hurling him like a meteor into the Moon's surface, detonating the ground with apocalyptic force.

The impact erupted in a blinding surge of gold, hurling dust and rock outward in a violent tempest of destruction.

From the heart of the crater, Zod dragged himself free, his once-impervious composure splintering for the first time. His silver aura wavered, flickering like a dying flame as the unrelenting force of Saiyan wrath battered against the stillness of his Torquasm-Vo.

Above him, Vegeta hovered with predatory poise, his golden aura roaring like a living beast, arcs of lightning crackling hungrily along his arms. "Not so composed now, are you?" he taunted, his voice rolling through the void like thunder.

Zod's gaze hardened, eyes flashing argent light as he steadied his breathing. "You've evolved…" he conceded in a low, measured tone, smearing blood from his chin. "But even evolution must bow to discipline."

"Then come test your discipline against a god!" Vegeta roared, launching himself forward in a brilliant streak of light.

Their ensuing collision ignited the lunar horizon like a false dawn, a cataclysmic fusion of divine fury and unshakable resolve, gold clashing with silver, chaos colliding with order, sending shockwaves that tore through the tapestry of the stars themselves.

The battlefield above Earth had erupted into utter chaos, blinding flashes of gold and crimson rending the void, shockwaves rippling across the ashen lunar surface. Titans like Vegeta and Zod collided in thunderous, world-shaking fury, while Kara Zor-El wove through the raging maelstrom, her cape a streak of burning scarlet slicing through the metallic darkness. Around her, Kandorian soldiers fought with desperate valor, their heat vision blazing through the Saiyan ranks, yet their once-proud formation faltered beneath the raw, primal savagery of their foes.

At the heart of the storm, looming like an ancient warlord risen from legend, stood Nappa.

The grizzled Saiyan general had never appeared more alive, his bald crown glistening with sweat and lunar dust, veins corded and straining as the golden inferno of his aura roared outward. His laughter thundered across the void, reverberating through Kara's very bones despite the silence of space.

When his gaze locked with hers, reality itself seemed to narrow and still.

"Kryptonian…" he mouthed, his grin stretching wider. "I did not know they made them like you… hehehehe!"

Kara's eyes hardened. She spared no words. With a sonic burst that split the vacuum, she hurled herself forward.

CRACK!

Her fist slammed into Nappa's jaw with such ferocity that shockwaves tore through the ranks below, scattering warriors like leaves in a storm. Shards of lunar rock spiraled into orbit, only to be pulverized into dust beneath the crushing weight of their clashing auras. Yet Nappa's grin only widened, his jaw snapping back into place with a grotesque pop.

"Good hit!" he roared, his massive hand snapping shut around her arm.

BOOM!

He swung her as though she were a war hammer, smashing her through the skeletal remains of a ruined Kryptonian dreadnought. Kara's vision swam amid the explosion of metal and fire, but training and instinct surged to the forefront, she righted herself in midair, unleashing twin beams of blistering heat vision.

The crimson lances tore through Nappa's chest, melting armor and searing deep into muscle, leaving molten furrows that steamed and hissed. Still, the Saiyan only staggered, muscles bulging as he flexed against the agony.

"Pain," he snarled, smoke curling from between his teeth, "means I'm still alive!"

With a thunderous burst, he propelled himself forward, his fist slamming into her midsection like a meteor strike. Kara was hurled across the void, lungs emptied in a single gasp, but her eyes flared with defiance. She halted her drift, her aura blazing to life, a brilliant blue-white corona erupting around her as the battle raged on.

Kara lunged forward once more, swifter than before, her movements razor-sharp, precise, each strike charged with the disciplined fury of a warrior defending her own. Her fists became a blur against Nappa's unyielding guard, the very air quaking with the force of their rapid exchanges.

"Not bad for a rookie!" Nappa bellowed between blows, deflecting one strike before retaliating with a crushing elbow that skimmed her shoulder. "But you're no Saiyan!"

"Maybe not," Kara retorted, driving her knee into his ribs with such force that bone splintered beneath the impact. "But I don't need to be!"

BOOM!

The detonation hurled both fighters apart, their clashing energies erupting into a shockwave that obliterated dozens of drifting corpses from both armies. All around, chaos reigned, Kandorians barked orders in tight formation, Saiyans roared in unrestrained bloodlust, and streaks of searing light marked the abrupt end of lives in every direction.

Kara's breath came in ragged bursts, her fists trembling as the brutal contest pushed her Kryptonian body to its brink. But surrender was not an option. Not here. Not now. Not while Zod battled for supremacy and William faced the wrath of Thanos' champions.

If she faltered, her people would be lost.

Nappa, far from finished, lowered himself into a predatory crouch, golden ki surging around him as jagged bolts of lightning danced across his skin. His grin widened into something far more sinister.

"You've got fire, girl," he growled, his voice dropping to a primal rumble. "But let me show you what happens when a true warrior gets serious!"

The moon's crust shattered beneath his stance, fissures radiating outward as his aura erupted in a violent torrent of light, transforming the void into a blazing golden inferno. Kara flung her arms up, shielding her face as the storm of energy tore into the lunar surface, ripping the land apart around them.

Then, he vanished.

His voice lingered in the emptiness, low, taunting, and terrifyingly close.

"Too slow."

CRACK!

A crushing fist smashed into her side, spinning her through the air. She felt ribs collapse under the force, pain exploding through her torso like an uncontrollable wildfire. Before she could recover, a brutal kick slammed into her, driving her into the moon's surface with bone-rattling force, the crater engulfing her in a cloud of dust and debris.

Through the churning haze, Nappa descended like an unstoppable god of war, his landing sending a quake that split the lunar crust for miles.

"Get up," he commanded, his tone unyielding.

A faint glow pierced the dust, then grew brighter.

Kara emerged slowly, blood tracing her lip, her cape torn to shreds and fluttering in the solar wind. Her eyes burned hotter than any star, the air around her warping as solar energy surged and gathered, ready to ignite.

CRACKLE!

In an instant, Kara's eyes ignited with searing, unbridled fury, blazing like twin suns before she unleashed the most devastating optic blast she had ever summoned upon the towering Saiyan brute.

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!"

Her scream tore through the void as she poured every last drop of solar energy into the beam, the sheer force of her power shaking the very fabric of space itself. Before Nappa could even raise his arms in defense, the unstoppable torrent of energy had already engulfed him, hurling his massive frame helplessly across the stars, dragged mercilessly by the blinding, relentless heat of her optic onslaught.

The vast, suffocating silence of space enveloped Kara as she drifted among scattered fragments of lunar rock and the shimmering remnants of her last devastating strike. Her chest rose and fell in shallow, determined breaths, each one defying the weight of her fatigue. The golden blaze of her aura wavered, threatening to fade, before flaring anew, nourished by the steady stream of radiant energy spilling from the faraway Sun.

Her muscles quivered, her body screaming for rest, yet her gaze never wavered from the maelstrom around her, the battle raged on without mercy. Saiyans and Kryptonians clashed across the void like celestial titans, their collisions erupting in cataclysmic bursts of light that painted the black expanse in furious, shifting colors.

She tightened her fists. This was far from over.

A gentle surge of warmth bloomed in her chest as her cells hungrily drank in the sunlight, drawing strength from every photon. The deep crimson of her cape caught the starlight, flowing behind her as she turned her eyes toward the distant, fragile curve of Earth. For one fleeting moment, she allowed herself a single breath, a pause in the relentless storm, before the tides of war shifted once again.

High above the lunar battlefield, where the soft glow of Earth's atmosphere bathed the darkness in shimmering hues of blue and silver, the void itself seemed to tremble. The vibrations that reached Kara were not born of her fierce struggle with Nappa, nor from the golden tempest of Vegeta's battle against Zod, they came from somewhere deeper, something ancient and untamed. A surge of green energy, raw and chaotic, ripped through the gulf between Earth and Moon like a feral scream.

Far away, Anissa streaked through the vacuum, her form a blur trailing ribbons of violet light as she drove a Saiyan's skull into an asteroid shard, shattering it into a molten spray. Her breath came ragged, her body battered and bloodied, but her resolve burned unbroken. Then her gaze snapped toward the source, that wild, unstable green radiance thrumming like the heartbeat of a maddened god.

And then it was upon her.

Broly.

A living tempest of emerald wrath.

He burst from the shadows like a cosmic comet, his colossal frame weaving through drifting wreckage with the grace of a predator in its element. In an instant, he was there, closing the distance with terrifying speed. Anissa barely had time to cross her arms before the collision.

BOOM!

The collision hurled her violently across the void, smashing her through an unmanned satellite and scattering its shattered remains like dust in the stars. The airless silence of space could not disguise the ferocity of the impact; a blinding emerald flash tore through the darkness, announcing the violence to the cosmos.

Broly did not hesitate.

In an instant, he was upon her, driving a brutal knee into her midsection before hammering down a crushing double-fisted blow that sent her hurtling toward the Moon's surface.

CRASH!

A vast plume of lunar dust erupted skyward, swallowing nearby craters in a ghostly shroud.

Anissa staggered upright, spitting a bitter mix of blood and grit. Her Viltrumite armor lay in tatters, her left eye bloodshot yet blazing with defiance. She glared upward as Broly descended, slow, deliberate, monstrous.

"Of all the brutes Thanos keeps under his command," she hissed, "you're the one I despise the most."

Broly landed heavily, each step sending tremors through the regolith. His grin stretched wide, his eyes gleaming with primal madness. "Hate… me…?" His voice was a deep, resonant growl, charged with raw power. "You'll break before that matters."

He vanished.

Anissa twisted at the last heartbeat, narrowly dodging the first strike, yet the shockwave ripped across her flank, tearing a scream from her throat. She answered with a fierce uppercut that connected solidly, launching Broly skyward, but his manic laughter vibrated through her bones.

Before she could follow through, he was behind her.

"TOO… SLOW!"

His fist slammed into her spine, unleashing a shockwave that rippled across the Moon, fracturing its crust.

Anissa roared, spinning in midair to drive a savage elbow into his jaw. They blurred across the battlefield, locked in a whirlwind of destruction, her precise, battle-hardened strikes colliding with his untamed, ever-mounting fury.

Each clash rang louder.

Each movement grew faster.

Each blow struck harder.

Soon, even the cataclysmic battle between Vegeta and Zod paled beside the chaos they unleashed.
