I moved in a flash—faster than any human eye could follow. My hand gently but firmly pressed against the side of Kasumi's neck, targeting a precise pressure point. Her eyes widened for a split second in surprise.
"Jack—?!"
Before she could react or speak further, her body went limp. I caught her smoothly as she collapsed forward, unconscious but breathing steadily.
Yuko and Haruna both froze in shock.
"Jack…! What are you doing to Oka-san?!" Yuko demanded, eyes wide.
Haruna's voice trembled slightly. "Jack… Oka-san…?"
I held Kasumi's unconscious form carefully in my arms. "It's nothing dangerous. I just don't want her to see what's outside. She doesn't need those images in her head. She's been through enough worry tonight."
Yuko stared at me for a long moment, then sighed and nodded slowly, understanding the deeper reason. Her gaze shifted sharply toward Haruna, a clear intent forming in her eyes to knock her out as well.
