"The Nameless Land? What kind of place is that?" D asked, somewhat puzzled.
Some of the settings for Witherzilla and the Execution Dragon were actually ideas Notch came up with while creating the holographic version of Minecraft.
Back then, Notch had only casually mentioned his concepts for Witherzilla and the Execution Dragon while chatting with D and J, without going into much detail.
So D only knew that Witherzilla and the Execution Dragon were sworn enemies. He didn't know the other background settings.
Naturally, he wouldn't know about the Nameless Land either.
Hearing D's question, Witherzilla couldn't help but freeze for a moment. The question really caught him off guard, he hadn't expected D to not even know this.
Witherzilla had never truly submitted to D in the first place, and now D's display of ignorance only made him look down on D even more.
However, Witherzilla didn't show it. He still needed to make use of D, so he wouldn't openly fall out with him.
Witherzilla had already sensed that the Execution Dragon was currently in the Nameless Land. He naturally knew that even if he went there himself, he wouldn't be a match for the Execution Dragon.
Witherzilla and the Execution Dragon were sworn enemies, this was a mission carved into their DNA. The two of them could not coexist in the same world; one of them was destined to win and the other to lose.
If Witherzilla wanted to win, he had to rely on D's power to achieve his goal.
Thinking this through, Witherzilla looked at D and answered, "The Nameless Land is the Execution Dragon's territory, in the Void."
Hearing this, D finally understood. 'No wonder Entity 303 and the Execution Dragon's auras appeared in the Void earlier…'
When D had sensed their auras in the Void before, he had been confused. He thought they were plotting something again. Now it seemed they had gone to the Void simply to enter the Nameless Land.
With that in mind, D asked Witherzilla, "Can you find the Nameless Land?"
Witherzilla nodded and replied, "Yes."
Hearing his answer, D raised an eyebrow and said, "Lead the way."
Seeing D's lofty, superior attitude, Witherzilla felt a surge of disgust, but he endured it.
He didn't set off immediately. Instead, he prepared to negotiate some terms with D first.
"She and I are sworn enemies. In this world, if I exist, she cannot, and if she exists, I cannot. There's no way I can coexist with her."
Witherzilla's meaning was very clear, he wanted D to help him kill the Execution Dragon.
Witherzilla actually knew D's revenge plan very well. He knew that a major battle was likely coming.
As a Chaos God, the Execution Dragon's strength was naturally not to be underestimated.
Given D's temperament, it was possible that after meeting the Execution Dragon, he might develop the idea of subjugating her instead.
That was something Witherzilla absolutely could not accept.
Just as he said, he and the Execution Dragon were destined to decide a winner. They were fated to be unable to coexist.
Although Witherzilla was negotiating with D, his words were relatively indirect, he was at least giving D some face.
But to D, Witherzilla's behavior was nothing short of a provocation to his status.
Witherzilla's attitude earlier had already made D unhappy. Now, after D had given him an order to lead the way to the Execution Dragon, Witherzilla actually dared to negotiate terms.
And what Witherzilla said was essentially telling D how to do things.
D naturally couldn't tolerate this kind of behavior. At this moment, he really wanted to let Witherzilla taste the punishment for "blaspheming" a god, but he held back.
D's original plan was to capture Xu Yuan's subordinates and seal them all in the Void, making them suffer day and night.
But now, the auras of Xu Yuan's subordinates had all disappeared. The only one he could still find was the Execution Dragon.
So only by capturing the Execution Dragon could he possibly draw out Xu Yuan's people and continue carrying out his plan.
And at present, only Witherzilla knew the Execution Dragon's location.
So even though D was already extremely displeased with Witherzilla's behavior, he could only endure it.
After calming himself down, D nodded and agreed to Witherzilla's condition.
"You don't need to remind me. I'll naturally get rid of her."
Seeing D's expression, Witherzilla suddenly felt a sense of panic.
He knew very well that D's strength was above his own. Since D could create him, he could also erase him.
Witherzilla had no real leverage to negotiate with D. The reason he emphasized his hatred for the Execution Dragon was purely instinctive.
He knew very clearly that whether the Execution Dragon lived or died was not something he could decide at all.
He had no initiative whatsoever, everything was up to D.
After realizing this, Witherzilla said nothing more and immediately led D to search for the Nameless Land.
———
Although Witherzilla knew the Execution Dragon well, the Nameless Land was, after all, the Execution Dragon's territory. Naturally, Witherzilla couldn't sense its exact location the way the Execution Dragon could.
He could only slowly search and locate it by following the residual aura the Execution Dragon had left behind in the Void.
After about an hour, Witherzilla finally found the exact location of the Nameless Land.
"Her aura disappears right here."
After saying that, Witherzilla looked into the Void ahead and continued, "Up ahead is the Nameless Land."
Hearing this, D was just about to step forward when Witherzilla stopped him.
Witherzilla closed his eyes, as if sensing something. After a moment, he opened them and looked at D.
"The Nameless Land has undergone some changes."
"What kind of changes?" D asked, confused.
Witherzilla shook his head. "I can only sense that it has changed. I can't say exactly what kind of change it is."
D was about to respond, but Witherzilla interrupted him. After thinking for a moment, he continued, "Since the Execution Dragon is hiding in the Nameless Land, he must have already calculated that I would come looking for her."
"In the Nameless Land, she is invincible. I'm no match for her at all."
"Obviously, she also anticipated that I would bring you here, which is why she caused some changes in the Nameless Land to deal with this situation."
At this point, Witherzilla paused and explained to D, "The Nameless Land is also called the Land of Chaos. Everything there is chaotic, even time itself."
"And a Chaos God within the Land of Chaos can easily change the flow of time there."
"So tell me, do you think the time inside has sped up, or slowed down?"
