Entity 303 spoke while recalling what had happened before, telling that nostalgic past as he remembered it.
A sudden "pfft" sound was heard as the Ender Queen beside him couldn't hold back her laughter.
She shook her head, clearly watching the fun, and teased Entity 303, "Someone like you, using the terms from your world, should be called a closet show-off, right?"
"I remember it very clearly. When you first came to the Shore, you were like a sealed jar, barely talking to anyone."
"Back then I was even wondering how you could state our needs so precisely when building the houses. So you had already been secretly observing us that early on?"
The reason the Ender Queen could laugh and tease Entity 303 now was naturally because Entity 303 had already "polished" what he had originally been thinking before saying it out loud.
If the Ender Queen knew the truth, he probably wouldn't have been able to reunite with Xu Yuan.
Hearing her words, Little Bug wagged his tail wildly while running over and pouncing onto Entity 303, "Other than liking to set fires, the fire guy is great! I told you all before, I really like the way he smells!"
Hearing this, the Wither King, who had been silent the whole time, nodded in agreement, "If Little Bug hadn't said that, we probably would've just treated building the houses as a task to complete…"
At this point, the Wither King couldn't help rolling his eyes at Entity 303 as he complained, "What do you mean a loner like the Wither King? Huh??? That was your first impression of me?!"
Hearing the question, Entity 303 shrugged and smiled, "Of course not."
Then his tone suddenly shifted. "That's still my impression of you even now, so I guess that makes it a permanent impression!"
Those words made the Wither King furious. Flapping his wings, he prepared to fly toward Entity 303. "You're asking to get beaten again, aren't you!!"
Seeing this, the Dread Lord quickly laughed things off and stopped the Wither King, "After we finish the important stuff, I'll help you beat him up!"
At this moment, these so-called "Demon Kings" looked just like an ordinary family chatting about everyday things.
So this was their normal life. No different from anyone else in the world.
While everyone was joking with each other, Rookie fell into thought. After a moment, he looked at Entity 303 with a puzzled expression and asked, "Earlier Pengpeng posted a video of you guys having a meeting on the Shore. From that angle you could basically see the whole place. I didn't see any buildings though?"
"You guys live underground?"
Rookie's train of thought had always been unusual, and what he noticed was indeed different from everyone else.
"Tch, what's the rush? I'm not done yet," Entity 303 said, raising an eyebrow.
Hearing that, everyone exchanged looks and started laughing.
Entity 303 cleared his throat and continued telling the rest of the story.
"After I told everyone about the construction plan, they all actively helped me gather all kinds of materials to build the houses."
"To recreate the furniture and stuff as much as possible, My King also helped a lot."
"For example, a stylish and comfortable sofa. In the outside world, you just need to spend money to buy one. But here, you have to piece it together with different blocks…"
"Luckily, My King had his domain… otherwise it really wouldn't have been possible…"
As he said this, a proud expression suddenly appeared on Entity 303's face. Then he said mysteriously, "Back then, My King was even researching how to help me assemble a computer!"
"When he was telling me those ideas, I really… thought he was unbelievably cool! Seriously amazing!"
"At that moment I was thinking, is there really anything in this world this man can't do?!"
At this point, Entity 303 seemed to realize that he sounded like a lovestruck girl. He coughed twice and quickly pulled the topic back.
"Anyway, with everyone's efforts, our neighborhood was finally completed!"
"Every house was custom made, and everyone really liked them."
"After we held a housewarming ceremony on the beach according to the customs from my place, everyone moved into their new homes."
"On the first night, in that familiar room, with that familiar layout, on that familiar bed, I slept very well. Very peacefully."
"When I woke up the next day, I found everyone already training on the Shore."
"I immediately ran over and asked them one by one if they slept well and whether there was anything about the new houses they weren't used to that needed changing."
"After all, it was a one-to-one recreation of the neighborhood I used to live in. All kinds of facilities were pretty modern… so I was worried they might not be used to it."
"I didn't expect their feedback to be so good. Everyone said they liked their houses and slept very soundly."
At this point, as if worried Rookie and Notch wouldn't believe him, Entity 303 explained seriously, "They weren't just being polite."
"At first, I also thought they were just being polite. But when I saw that after training they all went back to their own rooms one after another, I realized I had been overthinking."
"Because before, after training ended, everyone would just go off and do their own things around the Shore. Now that they had houses, they also had more personal space."
"Very soon… the second night after moving into the new homes arrived. But I kept tossing and turning, unable to fall asleep…"
"It was just too quiet around me… in that moment I felt completely surrounded by loneliness…"
As he recalled this, Entity 303 seemed to feel that suffocating loneliness all over again. He paused for a moment before continuing.
"At the time, I thought that feeling was withdrawal from suddenly not having a phone or computer. After all, whenever I used to feel bored, I would scroll on my phone or play on the computer…"
"And so, the next night, I slowly fell asleep by counting sheep."
"On the third day, My King gave me a surprise…"
At this point, Entity 303's eyes widened noticeably. With a shocked expression, he continued, "He actually… made a computer inside the game that could run normally!!"
"Although that computer couldn't connect to the internet from the world I came from… My King thoughtfully made a lot of games for me to pass the time… and even promised he would continue researching network-related issues…"
Even after so much time had passed, just mentioning this still made it hard for Entity 303 to calmly process the fact that Xu Yuan had built a fully functioning computer inside the game.
He took a deep breath to steady his emotions before continuing, "I originally thought that with this computer, I probably wouldn't feel that suffocating loneliness from the previous night anymore…"
"But I didn't expect… that night, not only did that feeling not disappear, it actually got even worse…"
