"I can teleport and make singularity things and have a super cool space domain!" the small dragon added proudly, puffing out his chest. "My main occupation is a Master's taxi driver, I take him around the world, wherever he wants to go.
Charlotte giggled, a laugh that Arthur hadn't heard in far too long. "You're definitely both powerful and cute. Best combination ever."
She gently scratched behind Aether's horns, and the void dragon made a pleased rumbling sound that might have been the dragon equivalent of purring.
"Master's sister is really nice!" Aether announced with obvious approval. "Aether likes her lots already! Can Aether help protect her from bad things?"
"Of course you can," Arthur confirmed, pleased at how naturally they'd connected. "Charlotte is precious to both of us."
Charlotte looked up from Aether with eyes that shimmered slightly with emotion. "I have a dragon guardian now? This day just keeps getting better."
