Dove
The moment Jay had let go of Danilo, he instantly turned to look at me. His breathing laboured as his hazel eyes started to reappear, the black melting away but the tension in his body still there. He looked like a leopard ready to pounce on its prey and I knew that was me. I knew that I was lucky Jay had entered the room when he had.
"Dove, let's go," Danilo breathed out, clearly trying to keep his voice from being threatening but I could hear the venom in it.
"I think it's better Dove stays here," Jay stepped in front of me as I got to my feet, my body still trembling.
"Dove will leave with me," he stressed, "You may get rid of whatever asshole is hiding in there in the meantime."
