The doctor looked at her expressionlessly. "If you go to the hospital you'll fully recover in a week; if you don't go, it'll drag on for at most another two or three days."
Li Yue Mei thought for a moment. "Are there any other consequences?"
Everyone was speechless. Was she trying to commit suicide?
The doctor frowned impatiently. "There'll be some impact, more or less, but it's all temporary. Are you going or not? We're busy."
"I..." Li Yue Mei hesitated, unable to make up her mind.
The doctor's brows knitted even tighter. "Enough, pay up."
"Pay?"
"You think an ambulance is something you just call for fun?" The doctor glared at the utterly baffled Li Yue Mei. "Hurry up. Either get in the ambulance, or pay the fare."
