The very first thing she noticed was how unbearably stiff her body felt, almost as though she had been unconscious for an extremely long time.
Even lifting her head slightly required far more effort than it normally should have, while a dull ache lingered throughout her entire body alongside a strange sense of disorientation clouding her thoughts.
For several moments, her vision remained blurry.
She blinked once, then twice, as the world gradually began coming back into focus.

And the very first thing she saw was a pair of golden eyes staring directly at her.

The voice sounded familiar.
Yet Soliette's thoughts still felt sluggish, as though her mind had not fully caught up with reality yet.

Her brows furrowed while trying to properly process the figure sitting beside her.

"Yes," the woman hovering before her answered immediately. "I am Astrid."
