Chapter 17 - "A psycho promise of forever"

"Jade… hmmm, what was that?" Sun's voice was soft but mischievous as he leaned closer, eyes sparkling with trouble. "I saw what you did there."

He tilted his head, smirking. "You like him." The accusation came out sharp, playful, yet targeted—Sun never missed anything.

"No, I don't. I just feel he's interesting," Jade blurted.

Too fast.

Too defensive.

His tone rose slightly, betraying him completely.

Sun chuckled, folding his arms like a disappointed lover.

"Hmmm, Jade, I know you. You know I know you very well. You can't lie to me."

"No, I can't, my love… you know," Jade muttered, voice softer now, like he was admitting defeat.

"Yes, I do. So tell me—what was that?" Sun's persistence felt almost like a warm hand against Jade's chest, pushing gently but firmly.

Jade inhaled, cheeks faintly tinted.

"I just love his godly weapon," he finally confessed, exhaling hard like someone who had been holding a sinful truth for years.

Sun's eyes widened, then he burst into an exaggerated grin.

"Ohhh, you do? But I like it too."

His voice dropped to a teasing purr.

"I especially love the back angle from him… mostly when I'm on top. The moans he gives when I pound from behind—it's divine."

The memory hit Jade like forbidden incense—sweet, heavy, and sinful.

For saints, it was an unholy act.

For experts in that department… it was heaven itself.

"Hah, we just have different tastes," Jade muttered, trying to compose himself.

"Yes, we do." Sun narrowed his eyes again.

"But how do you even know about the scene? It seems you enjoyed our little movie, didn't you?"

He turned to Jade with a praise-me expression that begged for worship.

Jade looked away, embarrassed but unashamed.

"I woke up because of Victor's moaning. And it's true… it sounded divine. I'm sure I even wet my pant," he said as he subtly touched his lower side, checking for any betraying dampness.

Sun's ego inflated instantly.

"Why won't you? I really taught him some lessons. It was wonderful," he bragged, literally skipping around like he'd achieved world peace.

"Yeah, it was," Jade replied, half dazed, half amused.

Sun suddenly stopped skipping.

"I would've loved to give you his contact, but he doesn't like other guys. I've tried linking him up with someone, even a threesome—he never agrees. Strange, isn't it?"

He frowned, thinking aloud.

"Do not bother. We will still meet when I'm ready for him," Jade said, voice smooth like he was plotting destiny itself.

Sun gasped dramatically.

"Huuuuuh, so zesty! I hope so!" He raised his fingers for Jade to tap.

Jade smirked proudly.

"Yeah, it will happen. No man has ever resisted my charm."

Sun blinked.

"Ohhh? So what about your crush on Sin? You no longer crush on him?"

Jade's answer came out without hesitation.

"Nahh, that's my baby. We're together forever. Nothing can break us—not even reincarnation."

Sun burst into laughter.

"Now that sounds like something a psycho would say. Yes! That's my friend speaking."

He took off running immediately.

Jade chased him instinctively, both of them racing like chaotic children until they reached Sun's house.

Later that evening, the two were seated at their favourite judgmental seat—the sacred throne where they critiqued the world.

There they sat, side by side, pointing out people's boyfriends as they passed by, gossiping with the kind of closeness only two unrepentant best friends—and maybe something more—could share.
