I suppose you're wondering why the title says "New Nakama."
That's because I want to add a new nakama.
I recently went back to watching the One Piece anime, which I had abandoned around episode 900, and when I reached the bounties at the end of Wano, I realized something: the Straw Hats ended up uneven.
Monster Trio: Luffy, Zoro, Sanji
Weakling Trio: Nami, Usopp, Chopper
Mysterious/Mature Trio: Robin, Franky, Brook
But then Jinbe was added, and he would go into the "Mysterious Trio," if you can call it that—meaning it wouldn't be a trio anymore.
Seeing that, I thought that Oliver would fall under the Monster Trio category as well, which also means it wouldn't be a trio anymore.
So there would be quartets in two of the three Straw Hat groups, and to make all of them quartets, we need to add another Straw Hat.
I thought about who it could be, and three candidates came to mind. I considered adding a male character, but most OC images people have made are of strong men, and since I don't want the crew to be full of men, I decided to include another woman.
