Luffy's fight continued, so Oliver sat down to watch how it was going, just like the others.

Arlong, with the Kiribachi, attacked Luffy relentlessly, who barely dodged his attacks until he stumbled for a moment. Arlong was about to take advantage and strike him, but before he could reach him, Oliver launched himself forward, getting in front of Luffy and taking the hit.

Arlong tried to pull out the weapon, but Oliver held it tightly, preventing him from moving it.
"Sorry, bastard, I need to make sure you don't get clever"
Using Electro, he electrified Arlong's weapon, shocking him and forcing him to let go, then immediately punched him, making him step back.
"Now it's more fair," Oliver said, dropping to his knees as he vomited blood.
Luffy looked at Oliver worriedly and then turned to see Arlong getting back up.
"Go after the captain... I'm fine, just a nap and I'll be good," Oliver said, giving a thumbs up.
"Sanji! Take him out of here!" Luffy shouted.
He went after Arlong, kicking him and sending him straight into Arlong Park to continue the fight inside.
"Are you stupid? Why did you get involved?" Sanji said as he went to Oliver.
"Well... my right leg told my left leg to move, and well, they did. I couldn't do anything," Oliver said, laughing.
"Idiot. We need to get this out," Sanji said.
"Let me handle it," Oliver said, touching the Kiribachi and storing it in his inventory, which made him start bleeding more. "Maybe that was a bad idea"
"You think?!" Sanji shouted angrily.
"Come on, it's not that bad, just a little nap and I'll be as good as new," Oliver said, laughing a bit.
"I think I really joined a completely stupid crew," Sanji said, making Oliver sit down.
"Come on, it's not that bad... besides, a boring crew... wouldn't have... cream pie"
Oliver looked toward the Arlong Park building, where he could see some of Luffy's punches going through it.
'I think now I don't have to worry... Luffy can...'
That was the last thing Oliver thought before passing out.

But... in the village doctor's house, cries of pain could be heard.
"They're still at it," Sanji said outside while smoking.
"Yeah, normally that wound would take two years to heal," Usopp said.
"That's what he gets for moving the way he did, idiot," Sanji said while smoking.
"Idiot! You treated your own wounds?! Don't you have a doctor on your ship?!" Nako scolded Zoro and Luffy.
"Hmmm... a doctor, but first we'll need a musician," Luffy said, thinking about what to get next.
"Why a musician first?" she said while continuing to close Zoro's wounds.
"Well, pirates sing, right?" Luffy said.
"Your priorities are strange," Nako said as she finished closing Zoro's wound.
Suddenly, the sound of people shouting and laughing reached the place.
"They must have already told everyone. They're fast," Nako said, finishing up.
"And what will you do now?" Luffy asked.
"There will be the biggest party that—"
Before Nako could finish, Luffy ran off to enjoy the party, which hadn't even started yet.
"He sure has energy after that fight and this one sleeping," Nako said while Zoro slept after being treated.
She looked toward another bed where Oliver was unconscious and began to check him.
"Hmmm... what happened to this arm?"
Night had fallen, and the waves were very quiet, unlike the island, which was full of noise.
A party began across the entire island, one that wouldn't stop that night, nor the next.
All the villagers were celebrating, laughing, playing, and jumping with joy now that Arlong's tyranny had finally ended.
Because of all the noise, Oliver woke up.
"What happened?"
He got up, realizing he was fully bandaged with his right arm in a cast.
"The fight is over... how did it end?"

"I guess this confirms it... good thing it's over"
He tried to move his right arm and felt a sharp pain that made him stop.

He looked to the side where there was a structure in the center with Usopp on top, telling the villagers how he had defeated one of the Pirates' officers, and the people were cheering for him.
"Always like that," Oliver said.
"Hey Oliver, you finally woke up," Zoro said.
"What can I say, sometimes I'm a heavy sleeper," Oliver said as he walked over.
He saw a table with cream pie and in an instant grabbed one and ate it in a single bite.
"Looks like you're hungry," Sanji said.
"An injured man needs to eat a lot to recover"
He leaned carefully while watching people enjoy the party.
"Who would've thought we helped free some islands from pirates. We work better than the Marines"
"Those were Luffy's orders, we couldn't do anything," Zoro said, finishing another bottle of alcohol.
"So if Luffy tells us to charge headfirst at an enemy, we'll do it?" Sanji asked.
"Why not? The captain's orders are absolute... as long as it's not fighting something that could tear us apart... in that case, we grab Luffy so he doesn't do anything stupid," Oliver said, remembering a certain future event.
They kept talking for a while as some people brought them food and drinks, thanking them for saving their village from Arlong's clutches.
"Hey, what was that?!"
The three looked at Luffy, who had appeared out of nowhere with a lot of food in his hands and mouth.
"Impressive, just watching you eat makes me feel full," Oliver said.
"Hey Sanji! What was that you were eating?!" Luffy said without finishing his food.
"And what about the meat in your hands?" Zoro asked.
"It's melon with fresh ham," Sanji replied to Luffy.
"Melon with ham?! Where is it?! It sounds delicious!" Luffy said, even hungrier.
"Well, the whole village is celebrating. It has to be somewhere," Sanji said.
"I'm going to find it!" Luffy shouted as he ran off.
"He's a glutton," Zoro said.
"Yeah, and we might lose all our money just on food," Oliver said.
"Alright, I'm done eating. Time to look for ladies!" Sanji shouted as he also walked away, heading straight toward a woman.
"Each one is unique," Oliver said.
He looked at Zoro, and he was already asleep.
"Very unique... I think I should go get more pie before it disappears, then I can spend the money"
So, ready to enjoy the party, he went off to eat everything he could.
