This year, her family's vegetables and fruits were a bumper harvest as usual. Whatever she couldn't finish eating, she tossed into space. She didn't make as much pickled vegetables, but she did help her sisters sun-dry quite a lot of dried vegetables, because they depend on these dried vegetables to get through winter!
There were still leftovers from last year's pickles. This year, she made mango dried pickles, taro seedling pickles, black olives, kelp, Dou Chi Fish, pickled green beans, and other kinds of pickles. With so many varieties and still fresh in taste, they would definitely suffice for winter.
