Anning nodded heavily: "If you don't believe it, let's experiment. Do you have a gun? Shoot at me, and see if I get hurt?"
"Nonsense."
Yu Shen's face darkened, pulling Anning towards his office: "I know you don't want so many people following you, but you can't be so reckless."
Anning was quite upset, shook off Yu Shen's hand and argued with him: "How am I being reckless? You haven't tried it, so how do you know I'm wrong? It has to be tested to be sure."
Yu Shen was about to pull Anning into the office to talk to her properly.
But Anning ran off.
Yu Shen quickly chased after her.
Anning ran out of the lab building and was running in the institute's courtyard. After a few steps, out of nowhere, a bicycle rushed straight towards Anning.
"Get out of the way."
Yu Shen was startled, ran over wanting to pull Anning away.
The cyclist was also shocked.
Where did this girl come from, rushing straight ahead and not dodging?
He braked urgently, but it was too late.
