Rider shook his head. "Right here."
The worker shrugged. "Alright."
"We've recently come to feel that our pay doesn't match what we put in, Mr. Rider."
Hearing that, Rider's temper flared up a lot. "I just gave you a raise after New Year's!"
The worker said with a smile, "It's already April now."
"So?"
The worker pulled a look that was just asking for a beating. "So the wages need to go up again. And our income is below the industry average, Manager Rider, that's unreasonable!"
He then mentioned a report the Labor Union had released this year called "Occupational Grades and Industry Wages," which said that in the textile industry, senior workers at their level were making quite a bit more than they were now.
Right now these people were basically making sixty to seventy yuan a month, but what they were demanding was around eighty yuan.
