These past few days, numerous vehicles coming and going have stirred up clouds of dust on the dirt roads in the outskirts of the city.
It's impossible to open the windows in the office, as dust would settle in a thick layer by the afternoon.
Since there aren't many students at the school, the office also seems quite spacious. Altogether, there are just over twenty teachers at the school, all gathered in one large office.
Pedro returned to his seat and couldn't help but complain, "The dust outside is flying up again, what on earth is happening these days?"
A teacher sitting next to him responded, "Someone is buying grain."
"Buying grain?" Pedro glanced at the calendar on the table, somewhat in a daze, "Is it already October?"
"But even if it's time to harvest grain, there never used to be so many vehicles here!"
In the past, after the harvest, grain was transported by horse-drawn carriages, and there were rarely such trucks because trucks require gasoline.
