Ronald and Catherine had mixed emotions.
However, once they calmed down, Ronald's final perspective was rather optimistic.
After all, if they hadn't encountered this scene, even if they successfully completed the maze challenge this time, when they returned to the real world and sealed the Dust Beast, they wouldn't have been able to spot these cat-and-dog-sized creatures in such a vast area.
Now, getting this information in advance means they can devise a strategy to counter it later.
If these 'little fellows' were to escape into the sea without them knowing, who knows what trouble they'd cause in the future!
Catherine nodded in agreement, endorsing Ronald's view:
"It certainly counts as good luck for us."
"Now that I think about it — that creature's insane body expansion was actually a cover-up for this scene. Even as a non-human beast, its brain works pretty well."
