The greetings in the library came to an abrupt halt.
When Ronald returned to their 'headquarters,' Martha happened to be near the door.
However, when the Saint saw Ronald and the two people following him, Martha's expression was no longer as relaxed as before.
"If I remember correctly—"
"According to our planned agreement, we should strive to avoid causing any actions that might lead to changes, right?"
Martha's tone now bordered on questioning.
The girl was very aware of the gap in power between herself and Ronald, but she didn't mind expressing her genuine feelings to a powerful figure:
"Mr. Ronald! I think our actions should be responsible to ourselves and to this world!"
Seeing Martha exhibit such a rare attitude, Ronald hurriedly explained:
