The peace longed for by each major Human city, in the end, never arrived.
Even as the remnant Alien Race civilizations were destroyed one by one under the campaign of Human Heroes, turning thoroughly into history, the world-devouring Crimson Curse did not subside as foretold. It continues to spread, sweeping forth at an even more frenzied pace!
The border city-states, reliant upon the Radiant Fire Great Wall Defense Line, are being mercilessly consumed by the crimson tide. Each Radiant Fire Stone serving as the core of those bulwarks, has its energy drained at hundreds of times the usual speed.
The magnificent Great Wall, once able to withstand the curse for decades or even a century, rapidly fades and crumbles in only a few days.
The vast ranks of Wanderers, still numbering countless, now cross these suddenly useless defense lines with ease, like a dam bursting and releasing a flood of death, rushing straight into the heartlands of Human cities!
