The buildings shook as a massive breach was blasted open in the Upper City Sky of Nido Royal Capital.
The midday sun's fierce light cascaded down, turning into beams that illuminated the Lower City area.
Huge chunks of rock and slabs of wood and steel plummeted, collapsing street lamps and overpasses.
Bang bang bang!!
A series of muffled thuds followed, as seven or eight cars were crushed on the spot, splattering blood everywhere.
The dark, damp cement buildings fell silent for a moment. The many Nido commoners by the streets of the Lower City were visibly shocked, halting their actions.
"W-what's happening?"
Someone stammered, their eyes moving away from the crushed cars and pools of blood, then looking with uncertainty towards the blasted opening above.
