Shin killed Saint Ethanbaron V. Nusjuro cleanly and swiftly. The man offered no resistance, seeming to welcome death.

With three of the Five Elders now dead, only two remained, and they were fleeing towards the rubble of the bombed-out buildings.

Shin didn't pursue them. He returned to the Pluton.

The moment he stepped on board, Hancock rushed to his side and gave him an excited kiss on the cheek.

"Shin is so amazing!" she gushed, her face lighting up with pure adoration.

"Why didn't you go after the last two? Are you letting them go?" Olvia asked, puzzled.

"Of course not. I'm waiting for the Celestial Dragons' hidden power to show itself. Chasing down two cowards is just plain boring."

Shin said with a look of disinterest. There was no point in hunting them down. Now, he would wait. He refused to believe the Celestial Dragons would just sit back and take this. If they did, Shin would officially declare them the world's biggest cowards.

————————

The two fleeing Elders pulled out a Den Den Mushi and immediately tried to call Akainu. But Akainu was in the middle of a war with Whitebeard—he had no time to answer.

"Damn it, Akainu! I suspect that bastard has betrayed us!" Saint Jaygarcia Saturn seethed.

If he had known this would happen, he never would have supported Akainu's rise to power.

Akainu, fighting for his life against Whitebeard, had no idea he was being suspected of treason.

"What do we do now? We're no match for Shin Uzumaki."

Saint Marcus Mars's face was etched with worry, his former confidence completely gone.

"There's still Sengoku and Garp. We have to find a way to get them to help," Saint Jaygarcia Saturn said, thinking of the two Marine legends.

He immediately tried to contact them, but he couldn't get through.

————————

"Let's sit this one out," Garp said casually.

"If they aren't wiped out, we're going to be in hot water when this is all over," Sengoku reminded him, glancing at Garp.

"It'll be fine. I don't think we'll have anything to worry about."

Garp's expression was relaxed, much more so than Sengoku's. He wasn't worried in the slightest. He trusted Shin's strength. Since Shin had announced he would level the Holy Land, Garp believed Mary Geoise was already as good as gone.

"With a monster like Shin Uzumaki, even if the Celestial Dragons have a trump card, they're no match. The era of the Celestial Dragons might be coming to an end."

Garp felt this was a good thing. Once the Celestial Dragons were gone, the world would be a better place. The Celestial Dragons were a bigger threat than any pirate. Many pirates didn't want to be pirates—they were forced into it by the Celestial Dragons. Of course, there were plenty of ambitious villains as well.

"I'll trust you this one time," Sengoku sighed, sitting down to have tea with Garp.

The world's power structure was about to be reshuffled. What that would look like was no longer his concern. He was retired—he shouldn't worry so much.

"By the way, are you going to get involved in the fight between Whitebeard and Akainu?"

Sengoku asked Garp. While Sengoku could abandon those scumbags, he couldn't turn his back on the Marines he'd dedicated his life to.

"It'll be fine. Whitebeard is strong, but at most, he can hold off the Marines. He can't defeat them. You can rest easy about that. You know what Whitebeard is capable of."

Garp was completely at ease, not worried at all.

Of course, deep down, a part of Garp hoped that bastard Akainu would die. After all, Ace had died at his hands. Garp would never be able to get revenge himself, but that didn't mean he didn't want it. Even Garp had his personal feelings.

————————

While Sengoku and Garp chose to stay on the sidelines, the remaining Five Elders were on the verge of exploding with rage.

"Damn you, Sengoku and Garp! They're definitely doing this on purpose!" Saint Jaygarcia Saturn cursed.

"Shin Uzumaki isn't coming after us. I wonder what he's planning."

Saint Marcus Mars waited for a while, but Shin still didn't pursue them. This gave them a moment of relief. Whatever the reason, as long as he wasn't trying to kill them, that was good enough.

"Let's go find Imu-sama first," Saint Jaygarcia Saturn said.

Saint Marcus Mars hesitated.

"Imu-sama still hasn't appeared. Do you think something happened?"

Saint Marcus Mars suspected Imu was in trouble. Otherwise, why hadn't they appeared yet? With all this commotion, there was no way they didn't know. And what about the other Celestial Dragons? So many had died, yet none had shown themselves.

Just as they were thinking this, several figures approached them. The Elders could tell at a glance that they were from CP0.

"What took you so long?" Saint Jaygarcia Saturn asked, his mood sour.

If they had shown up earlier, maybe they wouldn't have been in such a pathetic state. Now they had been thoroughly beaten by Shin Uzumaki.

Only two of the Five Elders were left. Even though they weren't exactly close, the death of three of their colleagues was not something they could take lightly.
